Gorgeous home in a gorgeous place

We absolutely loved this place! It’s the perfect size for a couple. The location is a little tough, pretty high up so it takes a while to walk down to the beach area and we had to take the buses to get back up, but plus of that is the views are gorgeous.

Great spot near top of Positano. Fantastic restaurant just 100 meters down the road. As well a a grocery. Steps to and from beach not as hard as people led us to believe?? Charming place. Full kitchen, bath has been updated. Upstairs. Bedroom and sitting room by back door. Front patio is cute with plants and tile within concrete slab. Great communication. Thanks

Not as Advertised

The host advertised air conditioning. Air conditioning was twice listed in the ad. Air conditioning was essential for us because we were visiting Positano in August, a very hot part of the world during a time when there was a heat wave. If there was no air conditioning, there's no way we would have stayed at the location. When we arrived, there was no air conditioning, only a small fan. The host told us we could go elsewhere if we wanted, but it was peak tourist season in Positano, and finding somewhere else would have been virtually impossible. As we expected, our stay was incredibly uncomfortable because of the extreme heat. Sleep was often quite difficult, even unbearable, because it was so hot. We're glad to see that the host has removed references to air conditioning on her ad. Hopefully, future guests have a better experience as a result.

This was such a great stay in Upper Positano! The sea view was beautiful and the unit was perfect for us. The bathroom looked to be newly renovated. I would love to stay here again!

Overall stay was ok

Andrea was very nice and welcoming and met us at check-in. She left us lots of snacks and even gave us a small bottle of homemade limoncello. She was very responsive and provided a list of restaurant and beaches to visit during our stay. One thing to note about the apartment is there is no air conditioning. A Dyson fan is provided in the bedroom. There were also a lot of ants downstairs in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. We did mention this to Andrea during our stay and she was very apologetic and offered to have housekeeping come and try to apply insecticide which we declined as we were leaving the next morning. There was also a weird smell in the bedroom when we first arrived which we couldn’t pinpoint until the end of our stay. Realized it may have been the sheets. It had a smell of wet towel. Could just be that it wasn’t dried properly or left wet for a long period. Location of the property is decent. Fairly close to Fornillo beach and shops but no way to avoid the stairs in Positano. A plus was a very adorable local cat that follows you and greets you in the area.

Positano on the hill

Great location but on a steep hill like most of Positano. Place great with everything included. Walked down the hill to town/beach and caught local bus home - too steep to walk backup. Local bus runs every 30 minutes so very convenient and cost 1.3 euro.

Ci è piaciuto molto l'appartamento, tipico di Positano. La comunicazione con Andrea è stata davvero ottima e ci hanno anche aiutato con un problema che abbiamo avuto. L'unico punto negativo è stata la mancanza di aria condizionata, ma nel complesso abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno e raccomandiamo vivamente questa sistemazione!

A hot tub & air conditioning, and pictures of a large terrace were featured when we selected the property. However these were no longer available when we arrived. There was a Dyson fan in the 1st floor bedroom. However Andrea is a fabulous host, very helpful with recommendations & instructions. A trattoria 5 mins walk away served very tasty food when we wanted to avoid a long walk back. Positano is not for the faint hearted, the steps are tiring, however its beauty & friendly people definitely outweigh the fatigue.

Great spot to stay in Positano

Great stay! Enjoyed my time here and the house has everything you need! It is just about at the top, so bring your walking shoes and be prepared to get a good workout on the way back from the beach! Andrea was a great host and provided many useful recommendations as well as making the check in process super easy. There is a nice front porch space where you can sit outside and relax and there is an amazing view from the 2nd floor. The house stayed nice and cool despite the hot summer days which was a nice reprieve when you stepped inside! Overall an awesome house with a great host.

An adorable place to stay!

Andrea was a great host, she met us up at the road and walked us down to the apartment, which was so cute!! The kitchen area had everything you might need, there was even a little basket of snacks for us. The upstairs loft was spacious and comfortable - though not for anyone who has even a little trouble with mobility, as the small spiral staircase would be difficult. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the water heater, but when I contacted Andrea she immediately sent someone to fix it. The only negative was that the wifi never really worked, which wasn’t a disaster because we were not in the apartment too much. Keep in mind also that there are ALOT of steps to go down to the actual beaches or the town and restaurants. Going down means going back up afterwards. Bottom line - great place! Andrea was very welcoming!

Nice spot for 2

It was a nice stay and it was comfortable. The place was located in a great spot for us. We didn’t mind the steps. Must eat at Poside for breakfast or lunch, unbelievably fresh and delicious! Also Next2 was amazing! The bed was pretty comfortable and we could never get the WiFi to connect. It always looked like it was connect but never had service so if you really need WiFi, may consider this. Overall, good stay and good hospitality. We’d stay again and recommend it. Thank you!

Amazing stay in Positano

My husband and I stayed at this home for our babymoon and we loved every minute. Andrea made us feel welcome and the property is beautiful and as described. Lots of stairs, but it was part of the fun. We were able to walk and take the stairs to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach no problem. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home and hopefully we will return!

The property was exactly as portrayed on the website. Very clean, great shower strength, beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. There are 115 steps to the road above and a few more than that to the road below, but that is Positano. The house was perfect. 20-minute walk to downtown, 10-minute walk to breakfast or great dinner options. It is a great place to immerse yourself in the town.

Fantastic Positano Stay

Andrea’s home in Positano was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights. It was clean and safe. Wi-Fi worked great. Views are incredible. Neighbors are more locals than tourists. 10-15 minute walk to beach and main tourist spots. The entire city is steep and this house is no exception. There are close to 120 steps to get down to the house from the main road but the majority of Positano homes are like this. It was fun to live like the locals! We would stay here again! 5 stars. Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay at Andrea’s. We were late in arriving due to a train delay but we were able to stay in close communication with Andrea who accommodated our late arrival with a smile. The house was nicely equipped and very clean. There were even snacks available! The apartment was quite comfortable with a lovely window that overlooked town and the sea. Gorgeous! Really great restaurants just one street down. Our only initial concern was that the listing identifies AC while there was only a fan. Turns out that we shouldn’t have been concerned at all, there were cool evening breezes and AC wouldn’t have been needed. The fan was a great add though! We would definitely stay at Andrea’s again, it was truly wonderful!

Exceeded our expectations

Andrea is a wonderful host. She was so kind to offer to pick us up with our bags and take us to the accommodation. She was gave us a map of where all the main spots were. The place was so clean, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was nice! It was everything we needed for our stay. The terrace view was incredible. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Perfect Positano Vacation!!!

My girlfriend Katharine and I loved our stay at Andrea’s house in Positano. We originally planned to take the ferry from Naples to Positano, but the water was choppy so the ferry was cancelled and Andrea was very helpful with navigating a different route from Naples. She advised us to take the train to Sorrento, and then offered to pick us up from Sorrento and drive us directly to the house in Positano, which we absolutely loved and were so grateful for. She was super gracious and gave a lot of great information for us about our stay. The house was even better than the pictures could show, the view is amazing and the house is a great size for two people. We loved the patio out front over looking the hills and ocean. We were in a great location with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, we definitely recommend!!!

A must stay!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! First, Andrea picked us up from the train station which was so helpful because Positano isn’t easy to navigate. On our way on, she provided a great history and overview of the City. She even brought my suitcase down the stairs on our way on. The home was clean and just lovely. It appeared to be recently updated, we had everything we needed. The doors open up directly towards the coast and the views are absolutely insane! It was in the perfect location too, just a few minutes outside of the super busy part of Positano but easy to walk there if you wanted to. Close to delicious restaurants and bus stops too. Also we were directly above Fornillo Beach, which I would highly recommend staying at. If we visit Positano again, we will absolutely stay here.

Amazing hospitality!

Our host was more than accommodating on our first time in Positano. Communication was easy with quick response time and the home had everything we could need. We were greeted by Guisy and she gave many local recommendations. The location is close to the local buses that take you down to the beach and port of Positano and it’s a 5-10 minute walk to nearby restaurants. I recommend staying here because it’s a little quieter and away from the tourist hustle and bustle by the beach.

Everything you need for a short stay in Positano
