Lovely stay in over the garage unit

The property and grounds were very nice. The bed was super comfy and the sheets super soft. The host was very responsive to my communications. There were tons of extras (snacks, toiletries, flashlight, games, etc). And even though the unit is next to the main house, it felt private (its at the back corner of the house, and most the windows face out to the property not the house). And it was very quiet. The only thing I would have wished for was a hot plate and or an instant hot water kettle. We brought our french press because we don't keurig, but it was hard to heat the water in the microwave, I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!

Stunning property with a private, perfectly appointed studio apartment over the garage. Remote feel, yet only 3 minutes to the highway and easy access to virtually anything you need. We enjoyed being just outside the Navy base. Host was attentive and low key.

A perfect Lodge for two in Serene setting

We stayed four nights in this absolutely adorable space, a mini apartment for two with beautiful landscaping and fire pit and a trail walk. Had everything you need from a small kitchenette to a relaxing TV reading area. Will stay here again the next time we visit Poulsbo!!!

Idyllic lodging

Mary's property is perfect!!! We couldn't have asked for a better location for our needs. The Lodge is lovely and in a picturesque setting. We were a very late arrival and Mary made sure we were welcomed with the lights and AC on. (Extremely warm here at this time.0) Mary has thought of everything. Lots of extras I've never seen in another VRBO. When my husband left behind his earbuds Mary reached out to us immediately, even before we realized they were missing, and offered to mail them to us. We will definitely book this property again next time we visit family in the area.

Quiet getaway

The space was clean, cozy, well-decorated and stocked for entertainment if you just want a night in. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to sleep well. The property was beautiful, and wonderfully quiet. Each time we came out there was birdsong. Recommend the long walk through the neighborhood - there were birds, horses and bunnies. Mary is an excellent host and has managed to create a space that was such a respite. One of the best spaces we've stayed!

If I Could Give Ten Stars, I Would

Absolutely fantastic property! Everything you need for a well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and PRIVATE stay! Mary (host) was as affable as she was communicative. I was delayed due to the rush on the ferry and she was great to work with. I would highly recommend it. This is in a rural area yet still as close to Silverdale as possible. Maybe 4 minutes from the door to Silverdale, but incredibly quiet. Mary has an excellent, secluded, private patio for her guests. My son (a US Navy Nuclear Engineer) spent the better part of the Day sitting on a peaceful patio with a great fire in the provided fire pit. This is an excellent choice and you will not be disappointed. I will be staying again!

Beautiful Property

We had an amazing stay at the Lodge! I would come back and stay here again for sure. The owner is so nice and really cares that you have all that you need to make your stay feel very welcoming and relaxing.

To be honest, I wasn't quite sure about this place when booking; it's not that close to Poulsbo and is above the garage for the host's main home. BUT, it turned out to be amazing! Mary, the host is awesome and has made sure that the studio has just about everything you could need for your stay. The studio itself is very clean and neat and the setting (while off the beaten path) is beautiful with plenty to keep you entertained. Also, the check-out instructions are so reasonable - especially compared to other places I've stayed; thank you so much Mary! The one and only suggestion I have is that the water pressure in the shower is quite low - so much so that I couldn't wash my thick hair. But seriously, that was the only thing I could think of/find as she has provided coffee and creamers, games and movies and books, several travel sized toiletries in case you forgot anything, super soft towels, throw blankets for cuddling on the couch, a map for the walking path, and sooo much more! If we are ever again in need of a place to stay in that area, we won't hesitate to stay there again! :-D

Gorgeous property and location! Very tidy and has all the amenities you may need for a weekend get away! Due to being in town for a wedding we only wish we had more time to explore and utilize all the recommendations Mary (host) has set out for us. Who I may add was very nice and accommodating with our late check in!

Lodge studio in Poulsbo is great

Place was great. A little off the beaten path but beautiful location. We didn't get to enjoy much of the amenities of the area because we were busy with our kids but would definitely consider staying here again

Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I chose to explore this area for our anniversary and the Lodge studio was the perfect spot to stay! It’s a beautiful and secluded area with a great outdoor seating area that we took advantage of in the mornings with our coffee. The space was clean and cozy and has everything you need to just relax and enjoy your time. We would definitely stay here again!
