“This lovely old building on the centre of Broadway is full of character and history . For those who are looking for air con, instant internet etc it probably is not for you but for the rest of us who like quirky, individual and very English it a 10. 2 best points are the staff who are quiet frankly brilliant, helpful, kind , funny and friendly and efficient. “A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.”

“A budget hotel but clean and comfortable and it was ideal for our overnight stay. The twin bedroom was a reasonable size and the bathroom was large with a walk in shower. There was a good choice of reasonably priced well cooked food for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Slight issue was the rather tired flooring in the bedroom and bathroom and minor maintenance problems. However we thought it was value for money and would stay again en route to our……
