The positive points are: 1. The breakfast was very good with different options on the menu every day. Also the counter would constantly be refilled. The NEGATIVE to this is that the breakfast room is the basement with 2 flight of stairs. My husband is disabled and it was a massive challenge to get downstairs for the breakfast and get upstairs after. NOWHERE in the hotel description was it mentioned that the hotel is not disabled friendly. We stayed 4 nights however nor the bedsheets were changed or the towels. Requested for additional pillows only 1 was given. Tea milk we asked to refill in the room and the lady said i dnt have milk and only green tea is available On the last day we bought lunch and asked the receptionist to keep it the fridge. However when we came back to pickup the luggage we saw that out food parcel was put in the bin that too in tge toilet. We were told to collect our luggage from the luggage room before 5 pm as no one will be around to hand our luggage as the room would be locked so we did rush back and collected the luggage and were sitting in the lobby and the other guest collected their luggage at 06.30 pm.

Laut Angabe auf Hotels.com ist die Rezeption rund um die Uhr besetzt, aber ist sie nicht. Eine angebenene Telefonnummer ist nicht besetzt. Erst eine zweite Nummer konnte helfen, aber auch erst nachdem der Mann mehrmals telefonierte. Ich benötigte 45 Minuten um an mein Zimmer zu kommen. Zimmer war für eine Nacht OK. Rezeption am nächszen Tag freundlich, aber für mich war es nach dem Abend durch.

Lovely hotel

Walking in the door of Hotel Victoria is a 5 star service experience. From early check in to printing train tickets, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Good wifi. Hot shower and comfortable bed. Note tram is very convenient running in both directions outside the hotel 5am to after 12am - every 5 minutes during peak. Double windows reduce some noise but light sleepers may have trouble. Breakfast was good.

Excellent Value and Location

From start to finish, our experience at the hotel went above and beyond what we expected for the value. We were close to bars, the tram was close to us, food near us was great, and their breakfast was a total delight. I will definitely consider coming back to this hotel if I visit again in the future!

Die Putzfrau war sehr aufmerksam. Das Krisenmanagement funktioniert nicht. Wir waren einen Tag lang ohne Strom, weil die Sicherung defekt war. Der zuständige Techniker hatte keine Lust mehr zu kommen, weil er schon dreimal zuvor wegen einer anderen Sache kommen musste. Wir mussten entsprechend nachts im Dunkeln ins Zimmer. Duschen ohne Licht war nicht möglich. Auch die keycard hat nicht funktioniert! Nach einem Telefonat mit expedia wurde uns die Nacht erstattet. Das Hotel hat zuvor nur für den nächsten Tag ein upgrade angeboten.

Gutes Hotel, super Frühstück

Alles war super, außer, dass wir viele Fenster zur Straßenseite hatten, Straßenlärm war nicht mal mit Ohrenstöpsel auszuhalten. Am sonsten top Zimmer, top Betten und Kissen, alles sauber, russisch-sprechendes Personal, sehr reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt und noch mehr. Wir sind zufrieden.

Hot and noisy, tiny, with ants!

Our room was tiny, no aircondition facing a very noisy street!! A fan was provided, but this did not help the dirty room, extremely tiny shower with parts falling off and lack of basic things like toilet paper. There has been put very little thought and money into all aspects of the hotel. From decorations and comfort to breakfast, which did not even have egs - but did have some kind of water with orange taste they called orange juice. Orange jucie it was not! The checkin was wierd, you are asked to sit down at a small desk whilst a viarity of receptionists try to check you in. Took 20 minutes and they ended up writing down creditcard information for deposit for minibar, city tax for EUR 5 etc. Rude, unknowledgeable and unhelpfull the first days, a litte more nice and gave us free wine the last day.. The last night we were upgraded to the only room in the hotel with bathtub and aircondition (cause hotels.com pictures said our room should have had it), only to wake up to knocking on the door early in the morning, cause the room underneath has water coming from the seeling. Our bathtub did not work and apparantly the bathroom is not waterproof, so it leaks once in a while to the underneath floors!? They showed up with a plunger to open the claughed drains, so apparantly they knew the issue from before. Also, this moist conditions migh be why there are ANTS living in the bathroom wall, crawling all over your things in the bathroom... Cheap can quickly become expensive...
