Prague week trip

Excellent central location, within easy walk of both the old and new town. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bars in the immediate area. Rooms were spacious, regularly cleaned and airy. Useful kitchen for cooking/eating. Only -ve is that if you have a bed by the window the street noise from the trams can be disturbing, but not overly excessive.

Ok overall. Potentials for improvement though

Knowing it is a hostel, it’s fine. However there should be either more bathrooms/shower rooms or fewer beds. There was one shower and one bathroom for 12 people, including the private room. Also, the soap in the bathroom was always empty so we would need to go to the shower (or the kitchen) to was our hands. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a cash deposit for the stay (which is fine) that is returned upon checkout and also a deposit for borrowing towels (which was not asked of me at all).

The hostel was not portrayed honestly on the website. Our private room with private facilities was in fact in an apartment with shared bathroom and kitchen

OK for the rate charged; but the ca do little fixes for better reviews: Fix shower-room’s door locking mechanism. Main door was hard to open from both the inside and outside. Many times the electronic device did not work with main door

Lower bunks have a privacy curtain but the upper bunks don’t so you’re screwed if you get upper bunk and when I asked if i could change beds, they couldn’t because apparently all the beds were booked even though one in my room was empty. Also there’s zero ventilation (safety concern??) in the room so the room was so hot despite it being spring, and imagine 6 other guys in the room, how bad it would smell.

Stayed there for 1 night and i was told i had to give a 10e deposit which was understandable but i saw a sign that said people leaving next day must go to reception to pick up their deposit? The guy in reception knew i was leaving next day and still took my deposit? What was the point? Went to my room and there was a bar right outside my window, i think the bar is the same property,anyway, the noise was horrendous, so loud, people shouting and singing until after 12am, i couldnt sleep at all, the property is very old fashioned, kinda like the days of dracula or something, i did like that its very central and close to everything, and it was cheap so you 1 night was ok for me, prob wont go back, but i did get my deposit back 😉

部屋は綺麗で広くてとても良かったです。共同のキッチンも清潔にされていました。シャワールームは2つありますが、カーテンで仕切られているのみなので浴室の鍵を閉めて一人で使いました。もう少し厳重にして欲しかったです。トイレの鍵も同様に隙間が空いているのが気になりました。
