Cute Cozy Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wildcat Lodge. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. Check in and check out were a breeze. Great communication from the hosts. While relaxing out on the beautiful deck we watched a herd of deer graze around the cabin for about 45 minutes. It was the perfect weekend getaway for the two of us. We will definitely be back.

Unexpected Spring Break Weather!

Wildcat Lodge has the perfect windows for viewing the snowfall that we got in Prescott. The cabin was as described and very cozy during our stay, even though it was COLD outside. The kitchen is well-supplied with what you need for cooking. Many trails and Lynx Lake are nearby for enjoying the outdoors. There is no yard to speak of, but the deck is roomy. The one living area would be cramped with more than the four people (all adults) that were there. Overall, it is one of the best cabin rentals we've been in.

Wendy was very communicative through email. The home was lovely and exactly as pictured. The issue we had was with our dog. The property states it is pet friendly but when we got there, the hosts had left a slightly hostile note about the dog only allowed on the non carpeted areas… the house is 90% carpet. If we had known this was the rule, we never would have booked. It was extremely restrictive. They stated it was due to poorly supervised pets and that they had taken pictures before we came and would take pictures and black light the whole house after we left and charge for any damages found. Although the property was nice, it would have been nice to know before coming so we could make an informed decision instead of showing up to a hostile note.
