Clean, Conveniently Located Condo

Clean and cool downstairs unit, with front door parking and outside lanai space. Well stocked kitchen with all the conveniences, washer and dryer, California king size bed. Good airflow and shaded lanai. Conveniently located close to Princeville One Hotel and Westin resorts, Hanalei and Anini beaches, world famous Prince and Makai golf courses, shopping, restaurants and other activities including helicopter and boat tours, horseback riding, hiking, etc. Common area includes pool, jacuzzi and barbecues. Sandpiper Village was one of the first condos to be built on the North Shore and therefore, it has a laid back, local vibe with mature lush tropical landscaping. Many permanent residents reside there; working, attending school, raising kids. It is a busy neighborhood with people coming and going at all times. The condo is located below and aside other vacation rentals. Visitors who stay in Sandpiper can get a real feel for Kauai community and island lifestyle.

It was nice over all. Could have used some wash cloths. Maybe a few extras in the kitchen like coffee for the morning. Pool was so crowded and noisy every day til 9 pm. Patio door did not lock. Not good.

Great location and an easy place to feel at home. The condo actually felt a bit larger than the photos suggested, which was a pleasant surprise. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big convenience and made the stay much easier. The owner was attentive and responsive throughout.

Our stay in Kauai was nothing short of absolutely perfect and a lot of it had to do with Janet’s amazing home. The kitchen was perfect, the bed was comfortable and it was such a peaceful neighborhood. Janet made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Renter beware!!! Paper thin ceiling and walls. If a large person or someone who can’t sleep is upstairs, you will be awake all night!Can hear conversations, cabinet doors shutting, every step above, tv, toilet. Literally everything.Property owner says better luck next time.She listed the noise issue previously, but took it off the ad. Told me if I wanted peace and quiet, I should have paid lots more money and stayed somewhere else. She also said I was the only person to complain and it is my fault for not asking about the noise prior to booking. Both untrue.VRBO is contacting her about adherence to their transparency for truth in listings policy.If I had to do it again. I would choose anywhere but here.Look for other reviews about noise. She says better luck next time. Who says that? She actually said I should have recognized laid back local vibe to mean paper thin walls and noise! Unbelievable.No good at all.

We were thoroughly pleased that the pictures were actually what we got and more! The condo is very spacious and clean. We were so surprised that we actually had a full kitchen. Janet (the owner) is responsive and communicates well. The neighbors were a little loud but other than that we very much so enjoyed our stay.

Great property in a really nice neighborhood.

We loved this rental. The host is fantastic and very responsive. There was an issue with the internet on the 4th of July when we got there and she was back to us in minutes with a scheduled appointment for the internet company. Thats on Independence Day in the US..... The only issues were 1. No AC, which is common to not have AC in HI, but its something to keep in mind. We kind of saw it as a positive as it forced us to acclimate to the weather/humidity. 2. The windows are great and let in tons of air. IF you have the curtains open. But, if you have the curtains open then you dont have any privacy. The windows that open are on the bottom so if there were blinds or curtains that covered the stationary top 2/3 part of the windows then you could have the curtains closed with privacy and air flow. We should have taken a picture to explain it better. There was plenty of bath towels, beach towels, and bedding.Janet also has a variety of items for beach use. She also had a cooler, water filter, and ice cube trays.The unit was very clean! Shoes are not worn inside home in HI and we did not feel any sand or dirt on the floor.

Perfect for two

We had a wonderful vacation staying in your condo. We loved that it is only a 10 minute drive down to Hanalei and would drive down to walk the beach every morning. Princeville is a great community for walking. If we needed something from the grocery store we would walk the mile to pick it up. Walks in paradise is wonderful. The condo itself was well equipped for all our needs. We would love to come back. Sue and John
