Sealodge E-5 is a lovely, oceanfront condominium surrounded by lush, tropical foliage and a well manicured landscape. Its location near the edge of a bluff above the coastline offers guests dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Throughout the year, you may see playful dolphins having fun in the water and, during winter months, this is a perfect place to watch for awesome humpback whales playing off shore. This is a peaceful location with no condos below or above.

Relax on your private lanai amid gentle breezes and take in the panoramic vista of swaying palm trees against an expansive ocean backdrop. In the distance, you can see Kilauea Lighthouse and Mokuaeae Island to the south and Haena Point to the north.

You are truly in a tropical paradise. Relax poolside at the shared saltwater swimming pool.

There is a nice variety of restaurants and cafes right in Princeville and the neighboring town of Hanalei just a short drive away. Tempting menus offer fresh seafood, local produce and regional cuisine as well as more traditional choices.

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, horseback riding, hiking, shopping and golf.

Please be advised, the trail to Sealodge Beach is steep and challenging. The trail gets muddy and slippery and can become dangerous. We recommend swimming at lifeguarded beaches.

Bug Infested

We first noticed the incessant bites and itching on the second night. Neither of us wanted to admit that there was something seriously wrong because we'd invested time and money into this trip and the view from the front porch was great. But when you feel (and see) things crawling on you while you try to sleep, night after night, it quickly reaches a breaking point. They ate my girlfriend alive (figuratively... she survived)—her legs were covered in bites. After two straight nights of no sleep which included one night where my girlfriend had to sleep in the back seat of our rental car, we were forced to leave and overpay for a hotel room for our last night in Kauai. Other than the bugs, the property was good. Dated, but for the price we didn't expect anything fancy. We would've been completely satisfied if it weren't for the fleas, or whatever they were. Strong word of caution against staying here. Do so at your own risk. The rental company is incentivized to get you to pay a non-refundable fee and then fight you on a refund if you ask for one after your trip is ruined by bugs. Don't expect honesty from them.

apartment, could need a bit of maintenance and renovation, view and quietness is great, big kitchen but no basic food as salt and pepper, coffee and a water as a welcome provided. Curtains and Security poles at the Windows are mold.

PARADISE!

Wow. The view/lanai and the apartment ended up being above our expectations. Stayed here for five days, and found ourselves having breakfast and dinner out on the lanai each day. Just the two of us this time, but kept saying how perfect this spot would be with 1-2 kids in the upstairs area! Absolutely enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous location

This condo has everything you need including a gorgeous ocean view. We loved our stay here. Do realize that, like many places in Hawaii, there is no air conditioning. Fans and open windows did the trick for us. Mahalo to the owners for sharing this wonderful place.

Loved this place

I loved staying here. I stayed alone and it was tons of space for just me. The kitchen had everything you could need, and it had a great view. Something I didn’t realize is the the second bedroom and bath are upstairs as a loft - just adding this in case people prefer doors. The back door and window do not lock but they have poles that you place at the bottom to keep them closed. I didnt really like this part, but overall still felt safe. I accidentally locked my self out on the first day, luckily I had my phone with me, and the property managers were there to help within 15 minutes which was great. Overall I had a fantastic time staying here! It’s really close to Hanalei which was my favorite place to spend time so I found this very convenient. They also give you a readable bad and small cooler bag, I ended up using these everyday.

Perfect place to stay!

We enjoyed this home away from home so much! All of the amenities were exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and it was a great place to stay. The views from our condo overlooked the ocean just like pictured and we could enjoy the ocean breeze any time of day. Access to their private beach was not too difficult to find and an unexpected surprise. Fun that they included beach chairs and towels to use right away. The staff was very cordial and made us feel welcome from our first day there. Our stay was 2 weeks.

Cozy condo with amazing views!

We loved every minute of our stay in Kauai at the Sealodge condo! The Princeville location was ideal for accessing excellent beaches, Hanalei shops, and the disc golf course. Waking up every morning to such a beautiful view was an added bonus. Communication with the rental company was great and even though we arrived late at night, check-in and finding the property was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely outlook on ocean. Wave sounds impressive and constant background. Some things walkable distance but most require driving and Parking in Princeville is unfriendly. Unit is Not very fancy and a bit aged but a very pleasant home for two weeks. Property was hard to find in the dark as street signs are essentially invisible at night - should have used google map.
