“was able to park just in front of stable room work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄 the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals……

We have stayed in a lot of properties and this is one of the best. Comfortable, well equipped, immaculately clean and a most generous welcome pack.. We are looking forward to our next stay.”

“Lovely property. The games room was great esp for a group. Really nice big garden and outhouse which was good for the kids. Lovely bedrooms and comfy beds all with ensuite. Just the bottom bed was a bit lumpy. Owner very nice to deal with and very clean. Lovely little high street and play park nearby within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit to Barnard Castle, Stepping Stones Park and a day trip to Durham.”
