"Great location and view, staff very helpful and accommodating. Had room on top of building overlooking pool area with separate sunbed and jacuzzi tub which was great, and pool area was excellent. Easy access to beach and beautiful town for evening dinners. Beach is beautiful and soft sand. The only reason not 5 star is could use a bit of updating in some areas and rooms a touch on small side, thould definitely consider returning again."

"This is one of the cleanest most well-stocked villas we have stayed in and we usually have 2 trips to Villas a year. The photos dont honestly do the place justice. The pool has steps in which wasn’t clear on the photos we could only see the ladder, which helped with our grand children and there’s plenty of shade around the garden and BBQ seating area that is close to the pool, that also has an outdoor fridge as well as a toilet, sink and shower, again great for kids who are in and out of the pool. The beach is really close and safe. The location is quieter to what we usually go to but the links we received gave a great selection of bars shops and restaurants so we weren’t disappointed. The sunsets on the beach are spectacular. We were 6 adults and 1 child and a baby and we can’t recommend this villa enough."

"We were a group of 11 (six adults, two teenagers, three children) and had a great time at Rafael's villa. It was brilliant to have, essentially, three separate but connected houses all connected to one large communal space. Location was nice and quiet - you'll need a car - but in less than 10 minutes' drive you were at large supermarkets and beaches. There's a great beach that's walkable (or only a very short drive) from the property. Rafael was a great host - even though we couldn't communicate very well with him (our fault for not knowing enough Spanish!) we got by with translation apps and he was always quick to respond on WhatsApp. The house had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay - the pool was a great place to relax in when we wanted a more chilled day - and we could drive to many great cities and attractions within an hour. Parking was a little tight (so maybe avoid renting a big SUV!) but once we got the hang of it we were fine. Internet was great in the main house but patchy in the others, but that didn't impact us much. It just meant we didn't use our phones as much and enjoyed the holiday! Thanks Rafael for a great stay."

"Gruphotel Conil Playa was our first ever Adults-only hotel experience and it was nice not having splashing, noisy kids at the pool for a change. This property is only 5-years old, super modern and airy, spacious with beautiful fish sculptures honoring the “Atún Rojo” (bluefin tuna) for which this region is famous. Our partial sea view room with balcony was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was better than any we’ve ever seen, including bottles of open Cava (Spanish bubbly) that can be paired with nearby orange juice for a Mimosa, if desired. Made to order omelette station or ready-made freshly fried eggs (instead of scrambled eggs under a hood). We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Snack Bar and a dip in one of their multiple pools and sun bathing. Our beach time was with friends in nearby Palmar, so we didn’t walk down the path (and stairs?) to the hotel’s nearby beach. This is a hotel and chain that we will gladly book again in our future travels!"
