The management was great. The front desk gentleman was so helpful and could speak English! The tile in the room was beautiful, and the water pressure and hot water was wonderful! On the downside, it is right next to a school and a busy road, with sirens going off all day. I recommend you bring earplugs if you want to sleep late or spend much time in your room during the week.

Nice hotel on the malecon in Puerto Lopez

Nice hotel right on the malecon. We had a balcony overlooking the malecon with a hammock on it. We needed glasses to drink our wine and they brought them immediately. We needed forks to eat our ceviche that we had ordered from next door restaurant and they brought them right away. The hotel is clean and the grounds are lovely. A little breakfast was included, scrambled eggs, slice of ham, two rolls and a few slices of watermelon. Front desk was friendly and the hotel had WiFi. And it was priced very well for the location.

Nice family, simple hotel.

A great family runs this place. We really liked them. Great location. Yet, they face the challenges of this small town. The water pressure for showering is missing. The area is very basic. We feel that we paid a lot for the location. You will like the view of you get oceanfront.

Comfortable stay in Puerto Lopez

Great location in the center of town across from the ocean. Wonderful restaurant right next door that we ate lunch & dinner, very good food & good price. English speaker helped us to check in. Room was clean & comfortable. Pillow was hard but we asked for different pillows & were given right away. The pool was very clean & lovely garden in the back by the pool area. Nice hot shower. Breakfast was great & good coffee. We enjoyed our 2 night stay & would return.

Great place to stay, clean friendly, only negative thing was that the pillows were very hard and I like a soft pillow. Great location also.

Worn out hotel with mediocre service. Well located

Hotel is old and worn out. Bathroom had permanent dirty floor. Many items were missing in the room upon check-in and front desk staff was unrushed and unconcerned in resolving them. We had to talk to a lady who seemed to be the hotel owner to get things done. But she was not here all the time. Hotel is well located, has a convenient outdoor pool and shower. Beware they charge late check outs. Service in restaurant next door, Moby Dick, was very slow and it’s lady manager was rude.

Clean safe hotel right on the beach

Had a room with a deck and hammock overlooking the beach and was able to leave the balcony doors open at night so I could here the waves crashing on the beach. Very peaceful.

Great location with wonderful and helpful staff.

Stayed for two nights and was very impressed with the location and overall experience. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and even assisted in directions for our drive to the next stop. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel bueno frente al malecón

Si bien Puerto López no es un lugar de muchos lujos, el hotel Pacífico destaca como uno de los más completos de la zona. Es súper céntrico, frente al malecón de puerto López y cerca a todo. Las habitaciones habían de varios tipos, me hospedé en una sin aire acondicionado pero con ventilador; si bien la temperatura promedio no era mayor de 27C, en más de un momento sentías la falta de a/c. Fuera de eso, las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas, la limpieza también es bastante buena y la amabilidad del personal es único. La habitación no contaba con frío bar, pero ellos podían guardar las bebidas en la refrigeradora del restaurante principal sin problema alguno. El internet no es de los más veloces, pero cumple su cometido para estar conectado (tampoco es que uno va a mirar una maratón de netflix). Inicialmente pedí una noche, pero al final me quede 2 noches adicionales. Volvería sin problema alguno. Incluyen desayuno por habitación, el cual consistía en pan, mermelada, huevos revueltos, jugo natural y café o te.

Buen hotel para visitar Puerto López

Sólo me hospedé por una noche pero el personal fue de lo más atento. Yo soy mujer y viajaba sola y es un lugar muy seguro para hospedarse ya que siempre están atentos de quién ingresa al hotel. Las instalaciones son buenas y la ubicación está cerca de los lugares de interés pero lo suficientemente cerca del ruido del malecón por las noches. En general muy buena opción y 100% recomendable.

Hotel Pacifico is run by the most welcoming of people. The owner herself made sure our stay was everything we were hoping it would be and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and even prepared a bit early to accommodate our early morning hours. Very friendly family run business that we were happy to call our home away from home.
