“Lovely place, helpful staff. Only negative was parking our car. Upon arrival we did not know that we could not park our car at the property. It instead had to be valet parked.”

“This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for……

“The hotel itself is a beautiful building with an interesting heritage as the main post office. The location is excellent offering a great starting point for a walking tour of Ortigia. Great stay.”

“Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! ”

We spent a week enjoying our private, quiet and spacious, spotlessly clean apartment with kitchen and laundry. A copious and delicious breakfast was served in the dining room every morning. We cannot say enough about the warm and friendly welcome we received from Domenico and all his wonderful staff. This unique hôtel also houses a small cinema and exhibition of cinema history. truly a magical experience”
