La Ruca is a complex of four cabins—A, B, C, and D—located in Punta del Diablo, Rocha Department, Uruguay. We’re on Calle 9, near Calle 10, 50 meters from the beach and 4 blocks from the shopping center, restaurants, and supermarkets. Punta del Diablo is a small fishing town and tourist destination on Uruguay’s east coast. It is located in the La Angostura area between the Atlantic Ocean and Laguna Negra, just a few kilometers from Santa Teresa National Park. It is accessible at kilometer 298 on Route 9. The Playa de los Pescadores in the center is full of fishing boats and stalls selling fresh fish. Nearby are stalls selling handicrafts and restaurants. It has two distinct beaches: Rivero and La Viuda, the latter known for its strong waves. The large, sandy, curved Playa Grande borders Santa Teresa National Park, which is characterized by its eucalyptus and pine forests.
