"I've stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while visiting Cartagena and had really good time. The room was spacious with nice view, very comfortable and I loved the walk in shower which was much better than some 4* hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, within short walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to the city."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hacienda del Golf villa. Communication was excellent with prompt replies, and the hosts went above and beyond with helpful recommendations – even helping us find a babysitter, which made our trip so much easier.The location was fantastic, perfectly placed for enjoying both the resort facilities and nearby attractions. The villa itself was spacious, well-kept, and ideal for families.The only small areas for improvement would be the bunkbeds – they have no sides and sit above a tiled floor, which felt like a potential accident risk. To be safe, we took the mattresses down and set them up on the floor, which worked fine. There was also a bit of an ant issue, but honestly, that’s not unusual anywhere in Spain.Overall, a fantastic stay in a great villa – highly recommended!"

Avoid – Unprofessional and Unreliable
I booked this hotel last minute and had a confirmed reservation. After travelling six hours to get there, I tried calling multiple times (over five attempts) for directions—no answer. Finally, just 10 minutes away, someone picked up only to tell me they don’t accept one-night stays, despite my confirmed booking. No apology, no effort to help, and zero regard for the inconvenience caused. This is not how a professional company should treat guests."

"Check in was fine - with key box next to front door. Kitchen facilities were excellent with the addition of an air fryer which was great. Apartment was spacious for the 2 of us was bright well decorated and modern.A good sized outdoor terrace and was adequately furnished. A short walk to a lovely pool area with lots of sun beds and shade. Within walking distance of restaurant and bars. We had an excellent holiday there."

La Manga Club, Penthouse Apartment, with amazing scenic views

"We had a fabulous time at Jamie’s property. The apartment is great, the views are stunning. We know Monte Verdi well and you will not be disappointed. Jamie was a great host and responded to any queries quickly. Previous comments mentioned early morning noise. We had a bit too but that is only to be expected due to the intense heat during the day and the difficulty working in that, it did not spoil our time there. Great to be back and hope to return soon. "
"This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable.
There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff.
Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!!
The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!"
