The facility main building is set up for backpackers. Some rooms do not have a private bathroom. Although not modern or comfortable, it is good for this level of service. The facility also have many small chalets. "

"This was a great little place to stay for a few nights while working our way towards Auckland at the end of our holiday! Beautiful view, nice and casual breakfast, and our host was available and helpful. The venue was away from the highway, but close enough to get traffic noise, but that was not a big deal. We will be back! Thank you!"

"Clean and well equipped room with a microwave, kettle, toaster and hot plate, as well as cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee and some milk pods provided. The grounds are really well kept and there is a nice kids’ play area. The pool is small and unheated and could do with a clean. The communal barbecues really need some maintenance, as the burners are rotted through and barely work. "
