"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Valerie and Serge were very friendly and welcoming, but also giving us privacy during our stay. "This is a beautiful and comfortable house, decorated with taste and style. It’s also a sort of gallery, featuring works of a renowned local artist and others. The kitchen is admirably stocked with all one could want for prep and serving. The courtyard provides a relaxing and lovely place for quiet moments. Marie-Helene and Olivier are personable and communicate with warmth and efficiency. I wish I could go right back."

"The property is well apportioned and easy to walk to the center of town with restaurants, shopping, market days, etc. Quiet evenings in the courtyard, little traffic noise but the train rail is directly across the road from the property, so you will hear occassional trains passing. Most are quiet commuter trains, only a few freight trains, and the noise didn't keep us awake at night. To note, the two water closets are not located in bathrooms with showers. "Formidable séjour dans une jolie maison décorée et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût dans un quartier très calme mais à quelques minutes du centre d Aix. La cuisine est fonctionnelle et permet de préparer les repas comme chez soi avec le plus du grand barbecue à gaz. Petit jardin sans vis à vis ombragé et parfait pour se reposer après les balades. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le spa de nage suffisamment grand pour toute une famille ."

"We stayed in this lovely home in Goult for 12 days. It’s a charming and quiet village, but has all you need—wonderful bakery, great small grocery, cafes and shops. It’s also a perfect place for day trips to several of the other charming hilltop villages in the area. The rooms are large, and having screens on the windows was a huge plus—fresh air without mosquitos! The home is on three levels, plus the rooftop terrace, and the spiral stairs are a little steep, but the hand rails really helped....

"If you want to get away from it all this is the ideal place as the house has no internet access and little mobile signal. A great place to unwind, read books and take in the gorgeous views. We enjoyed the daily 20 minute walk up the steep hill to the boulangerie in the historic local village of Viens but appreciated the return walk downhill! "The property has everything you will need. For myself personally although dogs are welcome on looking houses have dogs which when let out did bark quite a bit which prevented letting our dog out for periods of time. The family are very welcoming and the father spoke very good English."

"A group of 6 shared the villa for 6 weeks as a base for the Rugby World Cup games in southern France. The villa fulfilled all our needs. Clean, tidy, spacious with all the amenities you need. Rooms were great, outside spaces and pool were superb. I agree with all other excellent reviews. Boulangerie down the road and the town is excellent. "This property would be better for a summer stay so guests could enjoy the pool and the grounds. We liked being in a bit of a rural setting while still within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We also liked having laundry facilities available. There were little ants in our room on the floors so keeping the room immaculate is important. "
