「Good location, close to bus stop. Bed was not very comfortable. We liked the balcony and the bar in the evening where you could sit outside with a glass of wine.」

「The rooms are spotless clean and very nicely decorated. They serve a wonderful breakfast with high quality ingredients. The food at the restaurant was also very tasty and well prepared. However, there are two problems. First they advertise the rooms having air conditioning. Only SOME rooms have air conditioning. Others (the ones in the new wing, have a what they call "cooling system". It, supposedly, cools the room without an y cold air coming from a vent or a panel. Mine did not made any...

「Efficient online check in process. Junior suite was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Super king bed plus double generous sofa bed were very comfortable & all made up and ready. We all had an incredibly good nights sleep on both beds. There was a vending machine for snacks and drinks (incl alcohol) for relaxing on the outside terrace. Highly recommended. The only thing lacking was milk for tea/coffee in the room but the staff gave us some from breakfast in the morning 😊」

「Would love to try the main building as Hotel Weissbad next time. This time we stay with Weissbad Lodge in an attic room. The lobby is new and self served. The interior of the attic room though spacious however looks old and dirty with the choice of the floor wood and the lighting. Won’t choose the Lodge next time. But the receptionist in Hotel Wiessbad ( check in here though I stay at the lodge) was very helpful and friendly. Clear instructions and good advice on the tourist spots. 」

「The Hotel Appenzell is absolutely charming! The central location on the plaza is excellent, with a view to activities going on in town. It's conveniently right next to the Tourist Info center. The staff was cheerful and helpful. They responded promptly to requests, such as for a fan in our room. The room was delightful. It was bigger than other rooms we stayed in in Switzerland, and it was decorated in a charming, white and gold french style, with crystal ceiling lights, and big windows...
