Studio Āio - Raglan Retreat With Sauna

  • Welcome to Studio Åio

Tucked away in the coastal haven of Raglan, Studio Åio is a serene sanctuary where understated luxury meets nature-inspired design. Created as a place to unwind, reconnect, and slow down, this retreat invites you to make a coffee, open the doors, and let the sound of the sea and rustling trees set the rhythm of your stay.

    Ritual & Restoration

A handbuilt sauna and sculptural shower offer moments of ritual and restoration, designed for both hot and cold plunge experiences — perfect after a day exploring Raglan’s coastline or surf.

    The Location

Studio Åio is perfectly positioned for privacy while still being close to Raglan’s vibrant community — just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk into town.
Explore the boutique shops, galleries, and cafés, wander the black sand beaches, or watch the surf roll in at Manu Bay. For the more adventurous, try paddleboarding, kayaking, or hiking Mount Karioi for sweeping views of the coast.

Whether you’re here to surf, explore, or simply slow down, Studio Aio offers a place to breathe deeply, reconnect, and feel at home in nature.

This is a beautiful home with an amazing view. In a lovely quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had a great selection of dishes and utensils for cooking. We really enjoyed the space and proximity to Raglan beaches. One note: There is no trash receptacles on site. Upon arriving we received instructions to deposit trash at a nearby recycling center. Unfortunately the closest place didn’t open till 12 pm. And we had an early flight out of Auckland. So we had to stop in Hamilton on our way back. On site trash would be a BIG plus.Overall anyone would enjoy this beautiful place. Thanks!
