Wow, what a nice little place. Very well appointed and has everything you could need. The attention to detail is fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. The waterfall right out the window is a huge plus, just all around beautiful property.

Stayed in one of the cottages and it was awesome. The view was phenomenal, really unbelievably beautiful. The mountain with a few waterfalls. It was very clean and modern. If you include breakfast they deliver it to your cottage. Was sorry we were only staying a single night.

Seljalandsfoss Horizons is a stunning place - it might have been the most beautiful I‘ve ever been. Waking up with a wonderful view to one of the many waterfalls in Iceland, having nearly no light pollution to see the aurora and having the most comfortable bed. It’s a very thoughtful, beautifully designed space, with enough room to prepare your dinners, sleep in peace and have a wonderful hot shower. The staff was incredibly nice, preparing a delicious breakfast that we could also leverage as lunch for our Icelandic adventures. The accommodation is in walking distance to the Seljalandsfoss, a minor hike, so we could skip the parking lot there. Leaving the place was tough because we had such a wonderful time there - we‘ll definitely come back! A big thanks for the staff, you are the best!

Great place to say to see so many of the nearby attractions. Stunning property with waterfalls in the background make it feel magical! Beds are so comfortable and staff is easy to get in touch with. We had two nights here and wish we did one more! Would highly recommend staying here if you are considering!!

Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay.

If we could give this more than 5-stars, we would - this place was incredible. The owners thought of everything, from the items in the cottage, to the layout, it had all the comforts. I even took a picture of the loveseat because it was so comfortable and beautiful. The views are lovely, and you can see the waterfall from the bedrooms. We cannot wait to return, as we will absolutely be back. Thank you so much!

Amazing Cottages!!

The actual cottages were great, fully equipped, clean and spacious. The location is perfect and we got to see the Northern Lights every night. Would highly recommend them!

Lovely stay. Rooms got a little too hot with both heaters on but easy to air out with the windows. Could use a few more towel hooks for the four people. Super clean and easy to find. Sound proof too!

Luxury waterfall view

Beautiful modern space. Everything was impeccable. We had unit 9 which was not a standalone cabin but the units like ours have a clear large open view of the small waterfall from the sitting and sleeping area. There is a small but efficient kitchen that you can cook in which is perfect for the area that does not have amenities open late.

Enjoyed staying at this property as a couple. It would have comfortably accommodated more people. Nice to have a place to stay and prepare meals as we explored the South of the island and do the Fimmvörðuháls hike. The cabin got quite warm in the sun, but this was easily managed by opening the roof vent and a window.

The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays.

Beautiful cozy cottages, modern amenities, close driving distance to waterfalls. Isolated, low light pollution great for stargazing and northern lights. The loft cottages have upper loft floor with sky window, very cool. For a couple with or without small child is enough space. Communication with access instructions was easy. People have complained about inflexible cancellation policy, but these are family-run cottages, not a big hotel, so they depend on the income and last minute cancellations have impact on the local people

This was a great stop on the south coast! I really love the aesthetic of the apartment and waterfall view. Everything is perfectly designed and the kitchen was handy. I wish there were more amenities for shampoo/conditioner/lotion as I didn’t see any. It looked like just a body wash that could maybe also be used for hair? No conditioner, no lotion. Most importantly no ice! We really wanted ice. Closest grocery store/gas station is a 20 min drive. A little bit of noise from the highway also. I was expecting a little more for a whopping $700/nt. Overall, very nice apartment and conveniently located 5 min drive from Seljalandsfoss. We visited in the morning at sunrise and came back to get dry, shower, & warm up before checking out. The bathroom heated floor is a major plus!
