The hostel was clean and the kitchen was well equipped! Shared shower facilities met our needs but would have liked a better place to change clothes other than in the shower. Perfect location for our adventures and four the group of 4 of us the quad room was perfect!

Good clean hostel very close to skogar falls. You can save parking fees of falls by booking this. Kitchen is in basement, so no issue of noise after 10pm.

It is a very clean and quiet place. Close to some locations. Recommended if you are staying for two or three days. My only recommendation would be a laundry facility to make washing clothes easier, since it is a stopover hotel for travelers heading to other towns.

No electrical plug in room, but we knew this. We asked for an extension cord to plug in cpap and they came quickly to provide one. Kitchen well equipped. Room is small but do not need more for a few days. Hostel was expensive but reasonable in Islandic terms.

The kitchen is well stocked, and I enjoyed the free hot chocolate, tea ( and coffee). Garbage cans should be bigger in bathrooms. Usb plugs at head of every bed. Easy walk to skogafoss!

My friend and I chose this location because of how close it is to some waterfalls, but we never choose rooms without bathroom, it's inconvenient, but even it was very convenient for our route. No outlets in room though, which is completely annoying.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel with a good location, and the breakfast was especially good. Our only confusion was about the water supply. At check-in, we were told that a pipe was broken and under repair, and a note in the room asked guests to “use water wisely.” However, we had running water throughout our stay. We understood that supplying water in such a remote location may be difficult, but clearer information would have been helpful.
