We had a lovely stay at Piwari Villa. Vicky and Abby are lovely hosts and easy to communicate with. The house is tidy and warm. We also get a lovely view of Mt Ruapehu and had a nice soaked at the spa pool after a long day with kids. We definitely recommend this place.

Perfect winter getaway!

Great spot with mountain views

We really enjoyed our stay here with the hoy tub and fabulous views to the mountain. The house was warm and cosy in heavy frosts and hosts excellent to work with.

Comfortable and well equipped house!

We had a very easy and comfortable stay in this rustic house with lovely wood floors and panelling. It’s very close to Ohakune, very quiet, and with a nice spa. Highly recomment

Nice and cozy rustic kiwi bach. Perfect for our family wanting a mountain get away. Close to ohakune, turoa and 40 min to whakapapa. The spa was a real treat. Communication from the hosts was great.

Great snow holiday stay

We had a great stay at the bach. Once we got the fireplace going it was nice and cozy and warm. The Jacuzzi was amazing! Kitchen well stocked for making meals. The drying room worked really well too. Thank you!

Beautiful

We had two nights here and it was lovely. The spa was a nice treat at the end of the day. Fire really warms the house and it was stacked ready to go when we got there which was a nice surprise! Peaceful area, not far from town and an amazing view of the mountain

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our weekend at Piwari Villa. A very old villa which appeared clean and was really well equipped with everything we needed. Neighbouring properties are close by but we still enjoyed sitting on front deck in the sun and using the spa pool. The house had a shed for storing our bikes which was really handy and communication with owners was easy. Would love to know more about the history of the house.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay at Pīwari Villa; it's warm and cosy, in a beautiful location and has everything you need. The beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped and the view of the mountain is gorgeous. Soaking in the hot tub was such a special treat after all the activities we did: mountain biking, horsetrekking, snowboarding and yummy meals at Ohakune. Vicky made booking and access nice and easy and Anna was really accommodating too. Highly recommended for a great family experience.

Had a wonderful time, lots of things to keep you entertained, wicked fire made indoor smores sickly but tasty, very warm comfortable beds not to mention the amazing views of this beautiful country you get to absorb while soaking in the spa, this a well furnished lil old gem thanks for everything.

Amazing little cottage just outside of Ohakune

We knew from the moment we walked through the front door what a special place it was. So charming, cosy, and cute inside. The rooms are actually huge with plenty of room for bags etc and the shed outside makes it easy to store snow gear. We had a lot of fun playing games in the living area and lounging in the spa or in front of the fire after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Lovely location

great stay, loved the spa pool. We couldnt find the main house key so used the spare. The house is comfortable and cosy. We meet up with the cleaner, who was very unfriendly and left quite an impression on us unfortunately.
