“Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to……

“We loved staying here! When we arrived we were greeted with a bald eagle flying over the lake, and on our last morning saw 40-something loons. The kiddos loved playing outside and the short walk to the library (great kids' activities there!) and restaurants, etc. My celiac daughter loved the pizza at Fife Lake Inn. We stayed here to be close to the NCT and look forward to staying here again in warmer weather so we can fully enjoy all it has to offer!!”

“This is a well-cared for older property. It reminded me of cottages our family rented on Tawas Bay when I was a child. I rented the one bedroom cottage that was perfect just for me, but it would be a bit tight with one other person. However, it was so very clean, inside and out. Outside, the furniture was in very good condition and comfortable, the hanging plants are gorgeous and the beach is well groomed. The most delightful surprise was the quality linens. No thin sheets and towels here.……

“This was an amazing and a super clean property . The experience was great and it was certainly elevated similar to their property theme. Anyone travelling to traverse city , skip the hotel come and check out this property. Just a side note for the owner - since you have given everything that’s needed may be a little iron box would be good to have . Overall great experience and we did consider extending our stay just because of the property .”

“The check-in and check-out process was well communicated and easy. We didn't have the additional linens we needed, but the host responded within a few minutes that night, and linens were dropped off the next morning. Our only minor issues were the fact that the bedrooms don't have curtains or blinds, and there were few options to store items from the suitcase. Only one bedroom upstairs has a closet, and while the dressers in the rooms looked really nice, some of the drawers do not open/are not……
