I have visited Rixos in 2022 and was so happy with everything. 3 Years later it was completely different story: the rooms were very basic, no robes, flat pillows, towels with small holes. The food varieties went downhill. What was very strange is the amount of "supervising" staff in the main restaurant and still the service was hectic and disappointing. Adult only area was way too small. Wifi was weak and hardly usable in the rooms Another thing is THE SMELL from the neighboring plant in the evening, It was so bad, we could not be outside and spent evenings indoors. Will we return? NO.

Staff were exceptional, food was great, especially the Indian and Italian food options. It's not as well manicured and grand as say the sharm el sheikh Rixos, but actually because most of the facilities are very close together, it's just a few minute walk to access anything. Also, if you have teenage kids, then they can do multiple things whilst you have a central base at one of the pools. One annoying thing is no one respect the pool policy of not reserving beds with your belongings, this makes it essential to get up early and leave belongings on sun beds. I hate that, prefer a first come first serve basis. Some people are literally putting down their belongings at 8am and not returning back for 3 hours, making it very unfair on all. They should really have a look into this. The family suite was great, two fantastic size rooms backed onto each other. I would say the a la carte restaurants are not as good as Sharm Rixos or others. They all feel similar in style, and the seafood restaurant was a Mish mash of random dishes. The infinity pool area is great for adults, the bar their is lovely. Some of the bars they put little effort into the drinks others they make the drinks really well. Overall though, I would recommend, but Sharm Rixos is probably a better option.

This hotel was fabulous. The variety of food was great, however I don't eat breakfast. There was a sink leaking across the floor in my 1st room. The second room I had a leaking sink from the faucet, the bathroom was not very clean especially the shower, and 4 lock doors that would not lock. The locks were repaired but the sink continue to leak. However, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful. The facility had lots of fun things to do and enjoy. All in all Rixos Bab A Barh is a beautiful place to spend your vacation or holiday. T

Très grand hôtel, beaucoup d'espaces mais aussi beaucoup de monde, surtout des familles avec enfants. Le logement en appartement était très agréable et spacieux. On a apprécié le service en chambre, au buffet et dans les restaurants. Spa et massages parfaits. Et une dédicace spéciale pour les équipes de la salle de sport qui ont accompagnés toute la famille (boxe, yoga, RPM, TRX...) , merci !

Over booked .. not prepared for this number of visitors .. lines for each meals in the heat for over 30 to 45 minutes!!! Then to be offered only a table outside in the heat at 40 degrees!! Pools are durty and pool floors filled with sand .. over rated .. never again

1. Communication & Service: The hotel needs to improve its communication with guests. Service at the bars, especially during the day, was lacking. Additionally, staff members rarely greeted guests—basic courtesies like "good morning" or "thank you" were often missing, which made the service feel unwelcoming. 2. Room Facilities: The rooms themselves were comfortable, but there was a significant issue with the bathroom. Every time we showered, water leaked through the cracks in the shower, creating a mess and potential safety hazard. This should be addressed to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Awful service and organisation

Avoid! We were a group of 6 couples that had booked separately for birthday celebrations, only 2 couples had an easy experience upon arrival. We booked a premium king room with sea view, received a small twin room with view of a car park A couple booked pay on arrival room but as they didn’t arrive at 3pm their room was given away AND the hotel couldn’t source them another room and also DIDNT care, they didn’t even try and contact them to see if they were arriving - this is unacceptable. Another couple booked a room that had been made up for a family and was not clean on check in Another couple were told they had no reservation despite having email confirmation from the hotel and the obligatory ‘we are looking forward to you staying’ style email they received the day before You can’t use A la carte restaurants until your second night - this was not made clear All in all, really poor service and care from the management team who didn’t care because they knew that the hotel would sell out regardless Imagine flying in with a young family and having any of the issues we did

Great stay for 2 adults and 2 teens

Excellent location and layout of resort, good entertainment and very attentive service with to seat and lounger drink service in every bar/location even on the beach. Food was to die for particularly the daily indian and seafood options but every taste catered for. Only complaint was the booking system for the Al-la-carte restaurants the app system just doesn’t work but I reckon they will fix that in the next few months. They seemed to listen and acknowledge the problem.
