“The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. “The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.”

“Our second stay at Glen Cottage. Great location for exploring north western lake district. Really useful to have a parking space, superb walks accessible from the cottage, set in a lovely village with 3 pubs and 2 cafes within walking distance too. Cottage has been extremely well refurbished and a super place to stay in any season. Log burner nice to have in winter but took some lighting and the use of firelighters might have helped with this.”

“I really don’t want to write a review because then everyone else will know about this place , Fantastic , immaculate , really well equipped house , I was a bit worried not having a garden with 3 dogs but the park being 30 seconds walk away made up for that. Parking was free and a minutes walk away as was the town centre. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher , I let Keswick cottages know , more for the next guest and they had someone there within the hour to fix it . Can’t recommend the……

“We had a four night stay at Grisedale pike. We found the accommodation to be warm, comfortable, spacious and welcoming with a Christmas tree and lights in the living room. The location is good, close to shops and lovely place to eat. The welcome box for us and a separate welcome box for our dog was appreciated. "I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the room was not very pleasant—it felt quite outdated and wasn’t as clean as expected, with noticeable spider webs. In addition, it was quite noisy in the morning, which made it difficult to rest properly. On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were excellent. They were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great service, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. Overall, while the staff made a good impression, the condition of the room and the noise levels could really use improvement."
