“We have had several visits to Appletree. It is a brilliant venue for family/group get togethers. It is very comfortable and very well equipped, always immaculate. The new garden chairs are extremely comfortable and the garden parasol was an essential for our wall to wall sunny week - incredibly, not a drop of rain all week! We would always return here ..... when available.A word about the staff at Keswick Cottages, they are great to deal with as we have found over the years, nothing is too much……

“Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away……

“We stayed at The Eyrie early June 2026 as a family of 5 adults. The property location is perfect - close to ample parking and right next to the town centre, which was buzzing with lovely shops, cafes, wine & cocktail bars and lovely places to eat. The views from The Eyrie are stunning. The Eyrie had so much space and was very well presented. Lovely, comfy beds and all facilities great. Everything thought of. The only thing I would mention (this was not a problem for us) but for anyone with low……

“We had a fantastic stay at Mill house. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped, and in a great location. Everything was exactly as described and we would happily recommend it to others. The only issue we encountered was with the hob. We were unable to get it working during our stay, although we were unsure whether this was down to user error on our part or if there was a fault with the appliance. It maybe helpful for future guests if clearer operation instructions were……

It's comfortable, has excellent quality homeware and the location couldn't be better for our purposes. Sitting on the terrace, watching the Greta flow past and keeping an eye out for the bird life makes it an ideal getaway for us. Handy garage/food shop 100 yards away and Keswick is a wonderful town for restaurants. You couldn't ask for more.”

“This property is great value for money. Could do with a little bit of deor makeover in living room , a bit dated (sorry).but this may put people off which is otherwise a great rental. Very comfortable beds, bedrooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. One bedroom at the top of the property has a great view of Latrigg and Skiddaw on your own private balcony with chairs and a table. Great for a coffee on a morning . Massive added bonus is your own parking space at the rear of the property.……
