「This is the second stay our team has had at the Lune Mill River House in a stunning location. Our comments from the previous review still applies, but in short - prepare for an old draughty house on the river side. Bring sleeping bags if you are sensitive to the cold. 「The house is perfect for couples or large groups, with a well stocked kitchen, heaps of toiletries, comfy lounge chairs and a huge dining table. The two patios offer relaxed dining or sipping wine, both with views. This is the first time we have taken our deaf cattle dog on holidays, and it was perfect for him (as advertised). 「Absolutely wonderful place full of beach vibes and we had a great paella cook off, loved the jigsaws and cosy fire. Would very happily stay again - and we probably will! A perfect house with everything we possibly needed. 」

「Amazing experience」

「Beautiful location, we sat and watched the southern lights from the verandah. Short drive to Cockle creek Good fishing around the corner off the rocky point as well as off the jetty. Would definitely recommend. 」

「Beautiful location and loads of wildlife. The cabin a little rustic, but it is pretty isolated so expected. Linen and towels nice and fresh. Overall a great spot 」

The only improvement was the description in relation the 4th bedroom in what was advertised as the library. We did not realise it was not in its own room, but part of the lounge upstairs. 」

「We enjoyed our stay - just wished there had been a restaurant in Dover for dinner.」

「Cottage was full of character in an ideal location for bird and wildlife viewing. We even had our own bird hide. Bruny Island was our first stop in Tasmania, and was well worth a visit. Would go back if opportunity arises.」
