Underwhelming and disappointing. We had a garden suite that would accommodate 5 people… very dated and in need of modernisation. Room had real potential to be beautiful. Unable to comment on other areas of the hotel. Convenient for the Chunnel which was a saving grace.

On arrival the chateau looked beautiful. It’s a really authentic French experience. Check in was smooth and the grounds were beautiful. We were only here for a brief stop off. Not too much around the area in terms of provisions but we had eaten before arrival and the resturant looked lovely. We had a drink in the bar area and that was nice and quiet. Would recommend to others clean, comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

We stay here every year on our way back from holidays. Lovely building, rooms recently updated, lovely surroundings & fantastic restaurant. Disappointed that there were a few issues with the bathroom. Basin plugs stuck in place, unable to run cold tap for bath & a disgusting stains on the outside of the toilet basin.

Excellent stay. It was hot and no air conditioning but there was a large fan in the room. Extremely helpful staff. We only had the evening meal but that was excellent. Couldn’t ask for more.

Loads of parking, 4 electric chargers, a really lovely restaurant & an amazing & very reasonable wine list. The rooms have no aircon, we slept with the window open but as it’s close to the ferry port people leave early & drive over gravel past the front of the chateau so not the best night’s sleep in the summer. Beautifully decorated & very lovely staff, especially in the restaurant.

We booked last minute for one night after a long drive and could not have been happier with our choice . Property and grounds are beautiful but what really made it for us was the excellent food , the choice and the fabulous staff . We arrived last minute , with a dog , had forgotten to advise the restaurant I was vegetarian and they were incredibly busy. However, bar and restaurant staff were so friendly and informed , they couldn’t do enough for you and made the whole experience a real treat , we will definitely be returning .

It’s a beautiful building in an amazing grounds. The room was clean and airy with good light. We travelled by bicycle and they happily locked them away safely for us. Breakfast was also very good and worth the extra charge. Our only comment would be that if you don’t want to have dinner in their restaurant and you’re on a bicycle or foot, then you’ll need to go a couple of kilometres to the nearest village. We asked if the kitchen could prepare a sandwich or something small for us, but was told no, which I felt was a bit uncompromising.

The place is amazing - set in a grand estate with sprawling lawns and well maintained The food - absolutely "chefs kiss" The only issue is air conditioning - there isnt especially in the summer when the rooms are extremely warm

Leuke en goed onderhouden locatie. Het historische karakter van het kasteel is prachtig bewaard gebleven, terwijl een stijlvolle moderne toets zorgt voor extra comfort en een eigentijdse uitstraling. Genoten van een heerlijk diner in het restaurant. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar lekker. Het aanbod was beperkt, maar alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig en verzorgd. Voldoende parkeerruimte. Supervriendelijk personeel. Er was een trouwfeest op het domein, maar niets van lawaai gemerkt ‘s nachts. Dit kasteel is een aanrader!
