I was looking for a quiet place to stay near many different outdoor adventure destinations, and found it here. My host provided helpful instructions to prepare me for my stay, and the guide book in the guest house had valuable information on local area attractions.

The Guest House was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for parking our truck and kayak trailer. The country setting was peaceful and relaxing after a day of sailing at Whiskeytown.

Everything was as presented in the Vrbo listing, so there were no suprises with the property, except for 1: be prepared for a gravel road entry the last 100 or so yards to the gate of the property.

Palo Cedro weekend getaway

This property was a great place to stay. We really liked the quietness of it. It is in a great location to get on highway 44 and either head to Shingletown or into Redding. The property is well furnished and was clean and comfortable. We will definitely try to stay there again when we are in the area.

Quiet and Safe Location

Relocating from California to Washington, can't find a safer place to stay and park my fully loaded rental van overnight. The house is nicely decorated and I love the view from the deck and the kitchen window. What a lovely place!

Relaxing and Quiet

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and quiet place while we were in the area for an archery tournament. Perfect spot that was close to everything, yet felt away from it all. Very clean and had everything we needed. Debbie was so very accommodating. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book here again. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
