“The view from the room directly overlooked the Teatro Al Massimo. The sunsets were amazing and the room could not have been cleaner. Gianni waited over an hour for us to accommodate our early check-in. Snacks and coffee were stored in the kitchen for our use and the room was quiet— two floors above ground floor. “Whilst very excited to stay in what looks amazing in the pictures, sadly the reality was not to be. The kettle had green stains at the bottom, couldn’t use that as not clean. Went to run the bath and the water smelt stagnant, the jets in the bath were missing parts, the shower spilt water from above as was not maintained. The room is beautifully located and the staff seem very nice but the room a disappointment. We arrived late in the evening and checked out the following day. We pointed out the……

“This is a great place to stay. It is very central and close to walk to many of the historic sites, restaurants, and the marina. The staff were great, always helpful with suggestions and help when needed. Right outside the door there’s a great pizza place, and lots of other really nice places near by. Breakfast was really nice, and they have a minibar in their terrace room to have a glass of wine. Only downside is there are no elevators, so be ready to carry your bags up 4 flights of stairs. We……

“we stayed for 3 nights in the upper floor apartment. Tastefully decorated and spacious with a very welcome outdoor patio space. Happy we found this accommodation, felt perfectly quite, restful, and secluded -away from the frenetic pace of the street markets a very short walk from your door. We shall return, just love Palermo.
