Great home.
Good location...well equipped kitchen...nice beds...sun porch and backyard very useful.
Very nice older small cottage, which was very well equipped. We enjoyed staying there. It brought back memories of the cottage I owned on Park Avenue near the beach in the 1980s through 2010.However, we were saddened to see all the changes made to the town and the ugly architecture of the new houses that are taking over everywhere. It’s no longer a simple and lovely retreat.

Great beach house
Had a great stay here for 4 nights. House was clean when we arrived, and parking outside the house was easy. Loved the screened in porch during the rainy days we had. Just over two blocks from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely stay in a cozy, well-situated house.Just wanted to let you know: when we went to bed, the temperature in the house was 65 degrees. When we woke up, it was 58 degrees - we didn't touch the thermostat - just wanted to let you know so you can check it.Many thanks.

Cute place with good beach access
We had a wonderful time here! The kitchen was obviously updated recently and was lovely. The two downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. The backyard with outdoor shower were perfect, and the beach was only a few minute walk down the street. Would definitely book here again.

206 Norfolk St
We really liked this house. It's not an updated palace, but was clean and comfortable with a great kitchen. The neighborhood was very quite and the walk to the beach was pleasant. Would stay here again.

Beach getaway with family
We loved this little house. Fit our family of 5 well. Air conditioning was perfect. Location was great! Outdoor shower and screened in porch were a bonus. No parking spot or pass provided which costs 25 dollars a day....TV is also dated and was unable to connect with our phones to allow for smart casting. Would definitely stay here again if the parking situation got sorted out.
Overall our experience was great. The location is so good, walk to beach and walk to town. The place was clean and fairly well stocked. Would have been helpful to have a welcome book with info or at least notes reminding visitor they don’t have cable and instructions on how to access Netflix log in. We couldn’t not the maintenance man get it to work. Minor issue, many lights were unplugged and done missing light bulbs. One of the remotes needs new batteries and there is no fish soap or dishwasher soap. We found one.

Renter beware
First I will say what’s positive. Parking was easy. Beach access was easy. Location is great. Outdoor shower a nice touch. So much potential for this home.
But there is mold everywhere. I took photos. It’s covering the porch on the ceiling and floor. It’s on the wall in the upstairs bedroom making it dangerous IMO to sleep up there. I suspect it’s behind the walls based on how we reacted sleeping downstairs only. We had to leave early as a result.

A fine house for a weekend
We stayed in this house for a long weekend in the off-season, so the fact that parking isn't provided wasn't an issue for us. The location was great, easy to walk to everything in town and to the beach.
The house itself was a charming, older beach house. The two bedrooms on the first floor worked well for our family of three. We didn't use the upstairs bedroom or half bath, and it's good we didn't need to because it's pretty crammy to get up there between the big piano and giant chest that sort of box in the staircase.
The kitchen was nicely redone, and we appreciated that the house came with a few laundry pods so we could run a couple loads of wash before we left.
The TV didn't work our first night, which was kind of annoying and we had to wait until Saturday morning for someone to come out and fix it. This house worked fine for three of us for a weekend, but I think with more people it definitely would have felt tight.

July 2024 stay
We were lucky to stay in 206 Norfolk for multiple nights. The downstairs beds and furniture were very comfortable. The porch was wonderful to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We loved that it was an old home that was very cozy and had a fair amount of modern upgrades. We were able to purchase two parking passes from the City and always had spots right in front of the house. The walk to the beach was very easy, biking even easier. If you’re familiar with the are, the beach was less crowded than the heart of Rehoboth, but more so than up near the Pines and Henlopen Acres. We easily rented umbrellas each day. We didn't cook but the kitchen was amply supplied. Although the home is small dog friendly, you couldn’t tell that there had been pets in the house. It was very clean and our son with allergies had no problems. It was easy to get to Rehoboth Ave for shopping and dining. We love Rehoboth Beach and we are thankful the home allowed for us to have a nice, relaxing visit!
