Quite Relaxing Friendly Neighborhood

This is a very quiet and beautiful location. The neighbors and residents were all very nice, The beach was very easy to access. My family enjoyed looking for shells and sea glass. We usually don’t cook on vacation but the kitchen was stocked with the necessary things, It had both a coffee maker and a Keurig. This house was very clean when we arrived

We had so much fun at this cozy house. The property was clean, just as pictured, perfect for our pups and children. We loved the easy access to the beach and was so comfortable when we returned back to the house. Everyone slept well which is the best feedback I can give cause that doesn’t happen often with my family. We would definitely book again!

Second Time

This was our second stay at the house and again it was great. Our two dogs enjoyed long walks on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable, beds were very comfy. Delaware Bay view from the living room and deck was beautiful. We'll be back next year!

Just a few steps to the beach...

We loved staying at this house with a big deck and steps to the beach. Extra points for welcoming fur friends, especially our geriatric cat, he loved sunning on the deck with us. This place is well situated in a quiet neighborhood and a short drive to excellent restaurants, stores, and wildlife refuges!!!

Lovely water views

Could not be happier with the beautiful Waterview and easy access to the beach. My husband even caught some Sandsharks on the Beach … dog friendly and our pooch loved it. Quiet and peaceful one of the best kept secrets of the Delaware beaches…

Third time is a charm

This is the third (maybe fourth) time we've stayed here. We've stayed with just our family with young kids; plus we've brought friends and family other times - it is always a great time. It is perfect for little kids as you can go back and forth to the beach as much or as little as you want. It's the Bay so smaller waves too for littles. It reminds me of the Outer Banks but DE. Highly recommend!

Great stay

The house was a perfect set up for the family including the dogs. Having everything on one floor with a perfect deck and view of the bay was inviting. Easy access to the beach. The house sits on a very quiet street which made the stay even more relaxing.

Spectacular View, Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet

We had a wonderful stay. Brigadoon by the Sea was clean, comfortable and quiet. Terry was a wonderful host. He even brought us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. You will love the spectacular view of the bay. The sunrises are exquisite. You will enjoy staying here.

The most wonderful stay

Admittingly, My husband and I usually enjoy a mountain and lake house over the beach however after staying in this property our minds have been changed. The beach was absolutely amazing. We immediately fell in love with the remote beauty of it. We were able to enjoy nature and soak in the quiet moments, which is what we needed. I felt the stress of everyday life melt away as soon as I stepped onto the property. Our daughter enjoyed going into the water as the waves were docile and calm and the sand was so soft. We spent hours just walking along the shore admiring the shells we found. We also loved how the home and beach were dog friendly as well. The house itself was wonderful. Remote enough to enjoy peace but close enough to drive to Rehoboth Beach in the evening when we wanted to enjoy the boardwalk and amusements there. The house was fully stocked with what we needed to ensure a great trip. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the deck overlooking the water. We loved the light and airy décor and admired the fox painting with his top hat and pipe! The warm water in the outside shower was a bonus and so lovely! The host Terry was extremely gracious even before we checked in. I could not ask for a better stay and host and we most definitely will be returning. This is such a special place and gem of an area and hope it remains this way. I am so glad we stumbled upon this property and booked our trip. Thanks for giving us a space to reconnect to nature and with our family.

Fabulous Broadkill Weekend

We had a wonderful visit to Broadkill Beach thanks to our stay in this lovely cottage. Great layout, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful views, and friendly neighbors. We loved being able to take our dog with us and appreciated all of the thoughtful touches especially the fenced in deck. This is our second time staying in one of Terry's beach houses and we were very impressed by the quality, the ease of communication, and the cleanliness. We had a fun night eating boiled crabs and mussels at The Surfing Crab (an easy drive from Broadkill) and were very happy to be here for the seasonal opening of the Broadkill Store (didn't get up early enough for doughnuts but the breakfast sandwiches were great!). Thanks for another great trip to Broadkill Beach, Terry!

Great place on the bay

We stayed for a long weekend with our two dogs. The place is great, open layout with views to the water. Large comfortable couch and several comfy chairs. A short walk through the dunes to the beach. The kitchen could use some cookware upgrades. If you are planning much indoor cooking you might do well to bring along a few large pans. We didn't use the outside grill, but it looked fine. The description did not state that sheets and towels are not included, so be advised. This was stated in the pre-trip email, but it would have been good to know sooner. The bed was super comfortable! There is a gate on the deck that keeps the kids or dogs away from the stairs, which was a great convenience. Overall the place is really nice,comfortable and perfectly situated on the beach!
