The Beim Draxl guesthouse is located in the health resort of Reit im Winkl, in the Blindau district. We offer beautiful, exclusive, and comfortably furnished vacation apartments in various sizes, ranging from 35 to 55 m² of living space, accommodating up to four people. All apartments feature a balcony with a magnificent view of the meadows and surrounding mountains of Reit im Winkl. Here, both body and soul will find the perfect place to relax. Our chickens and cats are already looking forward to being petted by our guests, both young and old. Pets such as dogs and cats are therefore always welcome to join you on vacation. For horse-riding enthusiasts, we also have 6 Haflinger horses, 2 mini ponies, and one pony in the stable and out in the pasture. A charging station for electric cars is available. Hiking trails, a toboggan run, and cross-country ski trails start right at the house.
Starting in April 2026, our small but charming “Bayernglück” vacation apartment for 2 people will be available.
Our 43-square-meter studio apartment, featuring a combined sleeping and living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom, invites you to relax and enjoy your stay.
You can spend cozy moments on the sunny balcony with a view of the mountains.

Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort. According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess characteristics that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation through its ongoing efforts ever since. For one thing, its high elevation ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
The actual price for the vacation rental depends on the number of guests and the number of rooms booked.
