"Clean and spacious rooms. There is a nightly guide who will teach participants on the stars and the constellations. I found this very informative. The low light pollution enables us to see the stars clearly."

"Very good service, good and comfortable room to stay in. Only down side it's hard to find, Google maps needs to have the location so it can be found easily by navigation. Highly recommended."

"Pretty good. The hotel is cute and quaint, with a Harry Potter-esque lobby. Staff were helpful and pleasant. My only qualm is the room and hallways seemed a little humid and musty, signs of mold in the bathroom, but the stay was good, beds comfortable, water pressure very good. Bathroom space a little tight."
"We had a pleasant one-night stay. The hotel is clean and well-located with polite staff. It's a five star hotel but in actuality, it is a bit dated so it definitely doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Pricing reflected this so overall it was good value and perfect for our purposes of traveling with elderly parents and eating with relatives across the street at a solid restaurant in a department store. We also had a pleasant stroll in the evening and listened to a street musician. The chef at the breakfast buffet was super welcoming and chatting with customers. I appreciated his suggestions. Overall, a fine stay although I'd probably stay somewhere more updated if it were a different trip."
"Wonderful service. Loved the spacious room and the garden balcony view was excellent. The buffet breakfast and dinner was also delicious. I loved doing yoga overlooking the gorge... amazing! The Wilderness School tour was also very interesting and my children enjoyed the archery a lot. Only wish we stayed longer! "
"Breakfast foods just normal not much fruits, the dryer machine extremely slow but the front desk service very nice and helpful. The bathroom towels got allergic to the skin maybe the soap they used. The hotel location very convenient close to everything. Not bad for the budget hotel."
"Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in a prime location overlooking the breathtaking beauty of Sun Moon Lake, the property offers stunning panoramic views that feel almost surreal. Waking up each morning to the misty lake framed by mountain ranges was unforgettable.
The room itself was incredibly luxurious—beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed with every comfort in mind. Beyond the accommodations, the hotel offers a wonderful selection of complimentary and paid activities that make the stay feel like a true retreat.
The highlight, without question, is the boundless swimming pool. Floating in the infinity pool while gazing out at the tranquil lake and surrounding mountains is an experience that feels both peaceful and indulgent. We also loved the complimentary weekend morning yoga class—practicing yoga with the mystic lake and majestic mountain backdrop was simply magical.
If there is one small area for improvement, it would be the reservation system for some of the complimentary wellness activities. There was a free sound bath session on the weekend that was already fully booked, even though we signed up as soon as we checked in. It would be wonderful if experiences like this could be reserved at the time of room booking, so guests can plan ahead.
That said, this was only a minor disappointment in what was otherwise a flawless stay. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way!"
