Good cleanness across common areas, especially the combined toilet & washroom. Comfort of bed is fine as a hostel. But need to walk at least 1Km to city center for restaurant.

It’s a hostel, and I had a shared room with 6 bunks. Nothing fancy, but if you need a cheap place to stay it works fine. Seemed to have enough bathrooms that I always found one open. Limited food selection from vending machines. I stayed here before embarking on my backpacking hike and the walk to the BSI bus terminal wasn’t bad. I’d stay again if looking for a cheap place to crash for the night.

We didn’t stay in the dorm, we had a private room which was very comfortable. We stayed three nights total, two at the beginning of our visit to Iceland and one night before we flew out. The desk staff was very helpful and stored our suitcases until we were able to check in so we could go and do some sightseeing. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of clean bathrooms so I never had to wait if I needed one, there was a comfortable common area, and a nice kitchen area. food was available in a vending area but the hostel is within easy walking distance of a Bonus grocery store as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a great location and amenities. The only downside was that it seems that the heat in the rooms is always "on" and even with the window open, it was a bit of a sauna. Typically, when it's colder, this is probably ideal but we had two gorgeous days and so I ended up sleeping in the common area. But definitely a value for the money and a Ramen vending machine topped it all off!

This was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It was dirty, disgusting, uncomfortable and unsafe. Worse than a homeless center.

Voor 1 nacht prima. Wij hadden veel luidruchtig mede gasten wat niet hielp bij een goede nachtrust. Keuken was erg klein voor het aantal gasten.

Room and bathroom were fine as well as the kitchen area. The only issue is that if you stay one day they do not provide you towels, you can rent one for 500ISK but this is not mentioned in the information provided. You will discover this only once you check-in and if the reception is already closed you risk not to get them.

Cleaning staff did a good job keeping the place clean. Guests were good in maintaining cleanliness. Room was clean. Amenities were good. Had adequate sockets for charging devices. Negative was as the hostel was at a bus parking, there might be multiple bus startings in the middle of the night. Also, as our room faced the front of the building, noise from people there easily propagated into our room.
