"Upon arrival I wanted a shower. The shower in my room was so tiny that water splashed out all over the bathroom and flooded the floor. When I reported it to the staff, they graciously upgraded my room to a much better space. The staff was stellar always helpful with suggestions and answering questions. The on-site parking is pretty expensive, but right next-door is a P3 lot that was very reasonable. Good location with views of the bay and walking distance to many great restaurants."

"Small, modern rooms. Very quiet. Only thing was the modern vibe was a dimly lit room. Restaurant downstairs was good and convenient. Coffe and donuts in the morning were great. Locationn was good for dining and sightseeing. Parking was in a nearby lot and roughly 50 dollars for 48 hours. I enjoyed the location"

"First, we had trouble getting into the hotel. There is no physical staff on the property. They email you with a code to get into the front door and the same code opens your room door. Ours didn’t work. I phoned them to help us get in. The gentleman who answered was very pleasant and helpful. We got in the building. It must be under renovation because the floors are not finished and looked like a construction zone. The room was fine and finished. The bathroom had a huge heavy glass door, an extremely small sink and an equally small waste basket. The beds were comfortable. Overall, we liked the room. It is close to shops and about a 10 minute drive to the church and area."

"I genuinely never leave reviews, but for this experience, I had to. Ayla was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The hotel was very clean, the check in process was smooth, and Ayla went above and beyond during checkout to make sure I made it to my flight on time. She was quick to respond, attentive to detail, and truly made the experience stress-free. Honestly, she made my first trip to Iceland such a great experience, and I would definitely visit again and book with Reykjavik Residence!!!"

"Good location, nice property, convenient to walk for shopping and dining. Room was nice and adequate, our only issue was there was a narrow tub in restroom with a shower pointed from one side. There was a hinged glass partition separating the shower from the commode. Problem was, the glass naturally stopped in a position outside of the tub. This made it difficult to impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. We asked for a solution to this and front desk said they would send someone to correct it, but nothing changed. We ended up wedging a hairbrush to hold the glass within the boundary of the tub and still had a decent amount of water escape."
