Wonderful!

I stayed at Ulli's rental for 4 nights in May 2025 with three friends (4 adults). The property was perfect! It's spacious, clean, and has all the supplies you need. The location is excellent for exploring Reykjavik. Communication with Ulli before and during the stay was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Perfect space

We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable beds, great shower, great cooking space with all the necessities. Highly recommend this property if staying in Reykjavik.

Great location, lovely home

The house was the ideal location for a quick stopover in Iceland. Walking distance to all the main attractions but also good parking and easy access to highways to leave the Reykjavik area and get out into the country. Home was comfortable with nice amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Perfect for family with adult children

Loved the number of bedrooms and two full baths which worked well for my four adult children and my husband and myself. Two separate entrances was great as well. Location was also perfect. Near food halls, shopping and Rainbow Road. Very quiet residential street. Would definitely stay again.

Iceland Adventure

This lovely home is perfectly located for visiting Reykjavik. Within walking distance to most sites. The on site parking is a real asset in the city. My only suggestion is a cozy blanket for the couch would be nice. The beds were very comfortable and I think separate comforters is brilliant so your covers are not stolen in the night. Thanks for a great stay!

Another Amazing Reykjavik Visit

The accommodations were excellent. Great location. However, if you’re going to charge top dollar, I would have liked to see a few more amenities. For example, there should be tissues & paper towels available. And the bathroom towels should be replaced. They felt old, not soft & not very absorbent. An investment in higher quality towels goes a long way. Overall it was a nice property, spacious, comfortable and met our needs.

Walking distance to downtown and busses.

Our location was perfect, as we had a place to park but easy access to tour and city busses. Also shops, entertainment and restaurants were only steps away. If you have mobility problems the house has lots of steps to go from basement room to the top floor. There is enough room for 8 and plenty of room to eat together or by yourself. Word of note, check all cabinets before purchasing groceries. We bought coffee filters and found multiple packs of filters already there, so we added to the pile. There is a clothes washer, but not a dryer, but plenty of drying racks. The place was comfortable and the furnishings were lovely. Overall a great experience and the host was very thorough in making suggestions on places to eat, providing brochures and ensuring about buses.

Reykjavik City Stay

Very comfortable accommodation close to all the main streets and attractions of Reykjavik but far enough to be quiet. Self contained basement suite with two double rooms and bunk room with bathroom on first floor and living kitchen on ground floor. Washing machine in laundry next to basement suite. Floor heating and panel heating so very comfortable temperature in mid October. Walking distance to restaurants, museums and attractions. Plenty of room for our group of six. Would recommentd highly and thank Ulli for his very clear and detailed instructions

Great location in Reykjavik

We stayed here during the Iceland Airwaves festival and it was a great location for a base. Communication with the owner was clear and prompt. We occupied the entire house (including the downstairs apartment and it was perfect for the five of us. Thanks!

Great, central location

This house met all of our needs. It was very clean; the showers have great water pressure; all kitchen cookware/utensils were there; there’s parking for 2 cars; and it’s near so many cook things! Everything is as represented. Ulli was very responsive to our questions. I definitely recommend this place.

The house met all our needs and was in a very convenient location to all of downtown. We rented the whole house and the extra apartment in the basement worked out great! It was also nice to have the backyard for the kids to run around in...Swimming pool just minutes away was also a hit! Communication with the owner, Ulli was amazing. He even helped us by purchasing a second pack and play crib from my granddaughter! Thank you so much! The kitchen was adequately equipped but could use a few more child friendly dishes...Overall, quiet neighborhood feel, minutes away from the center of the city.
