"Very unclean and worn building. Half of it was a building site so works began early in the morning. The basement room had a window that you could hear people moving about all night. The shower and bathroom were so bad we really refrained from using it at all. A taxi driver informed us that there are women who offer extra services in this hostel. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Wasn’t even cheap compared to other accommodation we were just desperate for somewhere to sleep. "

Breakfast is great and the atmosphere they created makes you feel at home right away. "Happy hour beer and drinks price were super. The staff is international and syoer friendly. You are in the Red Light district so don't complain about street noise. There is nothing the staff can do about the street noise. The hotel is very close to the main train station. The restaurants in the area are super. Our rooms were very clean. The staff will bind over backwards for you to have an enjoyable stay. Also, there is a pool table in the basement. This hotel was one of the few to...

Top Rhine-Romantic Route Hotel Reviews

Hotel Mondial am Dom Cologne - MGallery

10/10 Excellent

"Very helpful staff, right in the city where you can walk to the cathedral in about one minute. Very nice hotel with good amenities."

Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Köln

8/10 Good

"Hotel was in a great location and was very clean. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was in wonderful . I only gave it a 4 because the room was pretty stuffy even though we turned the air all the way down it didn't seem to get very coo and we are hot natured . Otherwise everything was perfect!"

AMERON Köln Hotel Regent

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel, location fine, parking easy. Decent bar area. Only criticism is the self check in desk is a bit inefficient. Had two staff who could have done the check in, in seconds, stood there watching us fumble around. Self check in should exist for when staff aren’t around (late arrivals) or away from the mann check in desk to make more “slots available” during peak times. Having 3 computers and 2 staff telling people how to use the computers and not able to check you in on their own computer is just silly. We also had to queue to check out to get parking validated, which seems like something a computer system you had to use to pay for parking could have done during check in… didn’t ruin the stay but several of our party commented on how woefully inefficient the existing process is."

Lindner Dusseldorf Seestern, Part of JdV by Hyatt

8/10 Good

"The most professional, kind, welcoming and helpful front desk staff I had over three week stay in Europe. We stayed in several hotels and met many customer service people . No where was as amazing as this hotel’s staff - very helpful, didn’t seem cranky about having to speak in English, and very accommodating."
