“We had a wonderful week at Villa Maria Pia. Temperatures were around 34C all week, so the air conditioning, hot tub on our balcony, and fantastic swimming pool were absolute lifesavers after long, hot days exploring Rome.The apartment is beautifully maintained and has everything you need, although with weather like ours you'll probably spend most of your time outside. The balcony, comfortable sun loungers, and shaded gazebo make it the perfect place to relax. The pool area also has excellent……

“Fabulous location within walking distance of all the basics and to Trastevere/Vatican City. Plenty of room for our crew of 14 and kitchens capable of simple meals. Host (Daniela) was very accomodating and accessible. A few things to note from our stay: we were unable to get the drying function of the combined washer/dryer to work. It was chilly some nights and we could have used extra blankets. Some of the umbrellas/awnings/outdoor furniture needs replacement (normal wear & tear). Limited indoor……

“this is a wonderful large home with 2 nice open-air patios, a large living room and dining room and nice kitchen. the location is a short walk to the Vatican or the charming neighborhood of Trastevere. Suggestion to the owner the primary bedroom bed is a very dense and hard foam bed (think of sleeping on a carpeted floor) provide a pillow topper for those of us who like/need softer mattress.”

“We have had very a bad experience at this home in Rome. I have never had such bad experience and this had spoiled our otherwise good vacation. 1. There were no comforters or blankets or anything we could use to put over ourselves. We took some fitted sheet and towels to cover ourselves in night. Rough night for us. Called them and they apologised but said they cannot do anything that night but they will have someone drop off first thing in the morning. 2. There were no toiletries- not even……
