「The check in host was not the most informative or friendly welcoming, but was fine. That could be improved. I arrived in evening, I didn’t use the pools or eat at the restaurant. The room itself was basic, clean enough. Good value for what you get.」

「I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Gaivota in Ponta Delgada. My room was spacious, bright and very quiet, which made it a perfect place to relax after a day exploring São Miguel. The kitchenette had everything I needed for a short stay.
The breakfasts were exceptional, with a great choice and everything fresh and well presented. The room was always kept very clean, and all the hotel staff were polite, friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

「The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered).
