We did not use the pool, but the schedule was great. We used the mini lounge as a gather place. The coffee was great and the breakfast was simple but good. Our room was clean spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Each staff member we encountered was great. The owner was present each day and very responsive!

Travelodge new owner has cleaned up, opened the pool and hot tub area very well. Rooms are clean. However the breakfast hot food selections need an upgrade. Often ran out of coffee, during peek of hours. Sausage was rubbery. Egg options were minimal.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past ten years. I could feel the difference. It was clean, the pool was working, the rooms were neat. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lots of choices and if they ran out of an items, more was put out. A very noticeable and welcome change!

I would definitely recommend the Shell Lake Lodge in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. The hotel was very clean, the rooms/bed were comfortable, and the hot breakfast was good and much appreciated.
