Falling Leaf Cabin - Rustic Charm With Modern Decor!

Falling Leaf is the Quintessential Cabin nestled in the woods in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Private community access to the Shenandoah River is within a 3/4 mile. The Cabin is located 15 minutes from the town of Luray, and within a 30 minute drive of many popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, the Shenandoah River and Luray Caverns.

Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, family gathering or simply to get away from it all, once you visit Falling Leaf Cabin you will never want to leave.

The Cabin is privately owned and family operated, offering all the comforts of home.

The Falling Leaf Cabin sleeps up to 4 guest, features 2 bedrooms with Queen Beds and 1 & 1/2 Baths. The main bedroom is a spacious loft, while the second downstairs bedroom has a private half bath. The fully equipped Kitchen leads to a Dining and Living area with hardwood floors , 18' vaulted ceilings with a Gas Log Stone fireplace. A cozy upper back deck has a beautiful view of the Massanutten Mountain. Outside, listen to the sounds of nature as you relax in the Hot Tub. Adjacent to the Cabin there is a fire-pit to enjoy camping experience. Security camera monitors yard and driveway.

The Falling Leaf Cabin is open year round for you to enjoy a quiet retreat in all of the seasons.

Cabin was comfortable and we appreciated the old beams for the cabin. A basic spice rack was missing that in my experience is in most STRs. We found "free wifi" misleading because the internet connection is only DSL so very limited bandwidth. The cabin is in a mountain subdivision so the neighbors could be seen and heard. I don't regret staying here but we won't return.

The cabin was very cute and quaint. It wasn’t cleaned great! It was cob webs and the downstairs bedroom smelled like a wet basement. So we couldn’t use that room. Possibly having a humidifier down there will help with smell. The bathtub had the grimy dirt in between the cracks. A good comet and bleach will lift that dirt grime up. Other than that! It was in a good location and close to their downtown area. The house hot tub was amazing! The scenery was very nice! The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook everyday we were there and didn’t have to get anything. Would definitely stay again if they handled the items above for sure!!!

This stay was perfection. The photos are exactly what you get on arrival. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the instructions were clear, check-out expectations were fair and basic, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We used the hot tub, grill and fire pit - and all were great. We stayed for three nights and could have easily - and happily - stayed for many more.

Fallong Lead cabin is just the perfect little cabin. Everything you need to relax and unwind with gorgeous views and a wonderful hot tub. Looking forward to staying here again!!

Fantastic Trip!

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Falling Leaf Cabin and had so much fun! We had meals at The Chop House Bistro, Dsrk Horse Irish Gastro Pub, West Main Market Beer and Wine Garden, Gathering Grounds Cafe and Glen Gordon Manor - all were fantastic! We loved the back deck and were often relaxing and reading our books out there. The hot tub was the best - seeing the fireflies at night in the yard was special. The beds were comfortable and Andrea was available for any questions we had. We will be back for sure

Cute cozy cabin in a great location. Was perfect for stopping in Luray, taking hiking trips to Shenandoah National Park, or just staying in. Had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cabin in the area.

Eh. Wouldn’t book again.

It was an ok stay. Definitely not worth the money though. Communication with owner wasn’t good, always came off as rude. Wasn’t the cleanest. Also wish there had been something to say what was near by. Was told about the river but when you go to it there’s all private property signs so what we thought we’d be able to enjoy we couldn’t. Overall disappointing stay and a waste of money.
