「Lake House is a beautiful property in an idyllic location. Close enough to the village for essentials but beautiful and quiet. The kids had a great time in the gardens as did our family dog. The house has everything you could require with so much space and both indoor and outdoor dining options. We loved sitting out of an evening enjoying the ever changing view and sunset.」

「Our family of 17 celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful home. Even though it was large enough to accommodate all of us, it was a warm and comfortable place for all of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and golf course. Patrick and Victoria were always within a phone call or email if we needed them. I would highly recommend the Shelburne Lodge and if I could I would rate it 5 1/2 stars.」

「We spent one week in Ballinskelligs and had a great time there. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. Checking in was easy, too. There is a lot to visit - Kerry Cliffs, castles, ring forts and Skellig Michael, of course this is quite expensive. 「The home is much more attractive in person than in the pictures. It is very large, contemporary, new, spacious and welcoming. Even with 11 people, one could get lost and have private space in this home. The view from the patio was captivating.」

「We felt at home. The house is old but tidy, only the kitchen equipment could do with a makeover. The location is mega beautiful, many great excursion destinations within easy reach. Charly recommended a few to us. He is a very nice, attentive yet unobtrusive landlord.」

「It is a wonderful place to gether as a huge family and celebrate bithdays, Kristmas in Killarney, and the beauty of Ireland! 」

「The cottage is lovely and everything we hoped for when booking a thatched roof cottage. We enjoyed listening to the stream that runs through the backyard and how cozy and homey the cottage felt. The only negative about our stay was that it was too short.」

「Grand accommodations for our party of seven! Noeline welcomed us and gave us the lay of the land, which was very helpful. It’s a short ride into town and taxis were accessible. Shea Head drive was spectacular! Book ahead for Blasket Island tours.」
