「Driving cross country with a solid 3 days of driving and a needed place to stay and rest before pushing on. What a fantastic off the beaten path place to rest and relax.
Has a cabin feel but modern.
A short walk out the front door down to the Rio Grande River to watch wildlife or to sit and have a fire just feet from the rivers edge.
Don’t forget to look up once the sun goes down. The fall crisp clear sky reveals some amazing stars.

「It was our second time staying here. The place was great. We enjoyed the lodging accommodations. Easy communication with owners and very helpful. Lots of amneties which makes it a home away from home. The heaters kept the cabin warm. We loved the big picture window that looked up the mountain and the sun shone warmly into the living room area. 「We had a wonderful stay in the Guest Cabin. It was so very peaceful and relaxing sitting outside by the river. We enjoyed watching the geese and goslings and caught a glimpse of a foxes playing nearby. My husband enjoyed fishing off the bank. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for the two of us. We already have plans to return!」

「This place was solid!Although not the easiest to get to (Trust me if you want off the beaten path PEACE and quit this cabin is top notch), the cabin was comfortable, the scenery in the foothills if the San Juan Mountains was amazing.Our host went way above and beyond, answered questions, and even helped with a vehicle lock out!!! Thanks again for letting us use the ATV!」
