Central location was nice . We usually cook at least 1 meal a day lacked some basics to make it nice and homey . We did enjoy our time .

Great location in Manarola - far enough up the street so that few tourists pass by. Balcony was wonderful in the mornings. Check-in/check-out was easy. Internet only worked upstairs, the only small TV was downstairs in the bedroom, and we really wished the bed was softer (hard compared to US rentals). After seeing all 5 towns, we would stay in Manarola again, and would rent Le Coste again.

Too many things wrong.

Although the owners have done a decent job in updating the apartment, there were so many irritates that they overshadowed what was okay. The bed was very uncomfortable; the couch on the top floor (in the kitchen) was unbearable to sit on for more the five minutes; there was no oven (not even a microwave or a toaster oven); the heat was iffy (never warm in the bathroom or bedroom); the refrigerator (which was listed as full size) was a mini fridge. Also - the stairs leading up to the kitchen were very narrow and steep - could be an issue for some people. This apartment may be okay for a couple day stay - any longer than that just did not work.
