Wonderful River Retreat

This is our favorite VRBO property. Absolutely beautiful setting with magnificent views of the Delaware River. Great accommodations that are maintained with care and attention. Also, great location close to New Hope and Lumberville on the PA side of the Delaware River and Lambertville, Stockton and Frenchtown on the NJ side.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The porch was a fantastic place to start and end the day. We enjoyed the wildlife too. The host was very responsive to our needs and provided everything he could. Lovely place

The place was just like it shows. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It was a surprise to find coffee and tea there which was nice to have to not worry about going out to get since our visit was a short weekend stay.

Peaceful spot by the Delaware River

A real Zen property a few feet from the water’s edge. Watch the water flow by while you sip your tea. Bring your bikes for the lengthy bike trail running along the river, and just a few hundred feet away.

Great spot.

Great spot to relax and watch the river. Close to many wonderful small towns and restaurants. We used the place as a base for adventure. Kayaking in the Delaware river and biking on the canal trail.

Just right for us

Quiet, peaceful, exceptional river views. Accurate description and comfortable space including room for adult kids to come and go. Hosts were attentive, accommodating and helpful. I would stay here again. It’s a bit distant from small towns for restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful Location; Wonderful Accommodations

The River Retreat is very aptly named. Located on a secluded section of the Delaware River with a large back porch to take in the wonderful river view. The accommodations were excellent as was the communication provided by host Stuart. The River Retreat provides easy access to historic towns on both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania side of the Delawaeincluding Stockton, Frenchtown, Lambertville, New Hope, and Lumberville. Great weekend retreat

Located right on the Delaware, with a deck that overlooked the peaceful waters and some quacking ducks - this was a very tranquil and rejuvenating experience for me. Just a short drive away are two townships, Lambertville and New Hope (on the PA side) that are known for their beauty and quaint (old and classy) feel. And so many trails all around to walk or bike or explore. And did I mention Peddler's Village is not too far away, either

Beautiful scape

My family and I enjoyed this place so much the silence the kindest of the owner the view well is a very beautiful place. And the surroundings towns are great we went to Paddlers Village with the kids is very nice. Thank You Stuart for having us.
