“This beautiful house had everything and more! The beds were so comfortable both my cousin and I dreaded returning to our own beds in Texas and Colorado! We slept like 20 year olds. The entire house was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with better utensils and pottery than I own. I have 1 suggestion for coffee lovers -- you need at least 2 larger coffee cups for your coffee maker, lol. Thank you for providing such a long-awaited and needed restful vacation abode. “We stayed the weekend for my husband's 50th birthday. The location is perfect. The cabin was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We walked to Middendorf's for dinner and the boat launch is a 5 min drive. It's on a side road and there is plenty of room to easily park with a boat in tow. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings. It was fun to watch the birds and the trains going through. Sunrises and sunsets are absolutely amazing in the swamp.
