Nicest staff of any hotel we’ve stayed! There was a water main break in the area during our stay and the hotel had no water, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The hotel is right across from Carowinds, super convenient. The hotel is dated, but very clean. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Pros: the beds are comfortable and clean. At breakfast there are lots of options and the staff are friendly and helpful. Cons: I think I was conned into paying a bogus extra $10 for “use of the facilities”. I also think I was discriminated against and was given the first floor room beside the ice machine and elevator even though the hotel didn’t look fully booked.

Many things in the room didn't work. Replacement items were not delivered for what could be replaced, despite my asking. The noise in the hall and parking lots was a bit too much. That said, the breakfast was good and the location was unbeatable.
