Great value and location

Perfect location right by the coliseum, really friendly staff gave us great recommendations for dinner and drinks. Room was quite basic and had no dresser or desk but the beds were very comfy. Absolutely no complaints given the cost and location.

Our stay at the Residenza Maritti was EXCELLENT! It was a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and other famous landmarks like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful. It was our first time in Rome and they provided a lot of helpful information prior to our arrival. I emailed them with many questions and someone always replied very promptly. The room was very clean and the location was near a wide variety of restaurants. Breakfast was included in our stay and was DELICIOUS. We traveled with our 15 year old son and he said "When we come back to Rome, let's stay here again!".

Very nice property with some good amenities including a separate kitchen with kettle, fridge, dishes, ice, etc. great location with a healthy 2 km walk from Roma termini, easily accessed to rail lines or airport. Pretty hot and bumpy walk tho so be careful with wheeled luggage. Rooftop access very nice. Room was small tho. One of three rooms in an “apartment style” setup. Not nearly enough counter type space to put stuff out. Sleeping conditions good. Breakfast at Mazzessio was very good and came with rate. A good stay. You get what you paid for. The guest services woman, I forget her name, was the nicest person we’ve met in Italy. Outstanding friendly helpful person (she was pregnant). Thin towels and firm bed if that’s your thing.

Just book it!

Fantastic hotel/apartments. Unbeatable central location right next to the Roman Forum and 10 mins walk to the Coliseum and Il Vitoriano. We had amazing views of all of the above. Great facilities in the room and ensuite. Fully equipped shared kitchen area though never needed it as there are loads of great places to eat nearby. Piero and Gianluca were excellent hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and laid back. The place has a relaxed, welcoming feel to it and was a great base for our city break. Thank you.

Magical View and Outstanding Service!

Our room had a nice view of the Roman Forum and was very comfortable. The hotel is practically inside the Forum. We easily walked to most major attractions. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast on the rooftop where the view was magical. What a way to start the day! More importantly, the service was above and beyond. Gianluca provided good tips and advice every day. He called a taxi for us whenever we needed it and it came on time. I left my AirPods in the room and Gianluca responded quickly to ship it to me by express mail in Florence. This was amazing service. I would definitely stay at Residenza Maritti again and highly recommend it to everyone.

Gianluca und sein Team sind sensationell! Dieses Hotel ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp! Mittendrin, herzlicher Empfang mit super Infos zur Stadt. Super Zimmer mit Blick aufs Forum Romanum und Piazza Venezia. Geschäfte, Lokals, Kolosseum - alles ums Eck. Und eine Dachterrasse wie man sie sich nur erträumen kann. Das Frühstück: super lecker (der Raum BISSCHEN zu kalt, aber nicht schlimm) :) Eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir kommen definitiv nur noch hierher, wenn wir in Rom sind! Lasst Euch nicht vom "unspektakulärem" Eingang abschrecken! Und die Fotos auf der Website zeigen bei Weitem nicht, wie schön es dort ist. Grazie!!
