Yearly South Coast trip to decompress

Backing onto the river, and a short walk to the Beach down the road, Reads is situated perfectly for a relaxing summer break. The house is well equipped and comfortable. My doggo loved exploring the wild yard and near by beaches. Also, a short drive to other south coast beaches and towns to visit. Love it. Would stay again.

Comfortable holiday house near beach

Reads at Rosedale is a comfortable, well equipped holiday house very close to South Rosedale Beach. We have stayed twice, in both winter and summer, and would happily return.

Lovely Rosedale Beach

Great bed and coffee machine, hot showers, well kitted out kitchen, laundry and short walk to a wonderful beach that is dog friendly 247 until the end of October. Heaven!

Rosedale retreat

The house, facilities, location and tranquility were perfect. Great set up for family (including fur babies) to be together, but also spaces for us to be able to do our own thing as well. Would highly recommend to others.

Beautiful peaceful location

A stylish and comfortable house in a perfect location. So peaceful to relax on the deck with a morning coffee overlooking the lagoon, and just a minutes walk onto the beach. Great videos and games. Suited teens and dog perfectly!

House & location, truly unique & delightful

We enjoyed breakfast on the deck, visited by the wildlife including a beautiful King Parrot & a very busy echidna. Loved the gentle smell of cedar. Beaches are very close by and we enjoyed exploring the coast. The house had everything we needed & we will definitely try to book again. Thank you Claire & Gary.

Gorgeous, architect-designed, private gem.

Fabulous location, a minute's walk from the beach. Stunning, Nordic interior. We loved it. Our dogs loved it. Well equipped kitchen in which everything works. Great floor plan and so comfortable. The rear decks cascade down to a creek.

Just what we needed

My partner and I found the perfect place to have a break away with my mum. Dad passed away a couple of years ago and we were wanting to take mum away somewhere quiet, safe and restful as it was her first time packing for one since the pandemic. It was just what we all needed and being able to bring our whippet along for the stay made us all enjoy it even more. The start of new memories…

Stunning

Beautiful property in a great location. Very comfortable and the fire was wonderful. Had a problem with the power on day one but Claire sorted this with no fuss. We were expecting internet but there wasn’t any but the trip proved a good break from screen time. Our three dogs had lots of fun on the dog friendly beach which is just two minutes away. Looking forward to our next visit!

Tranquility after the Storm

Extremely pleased with our accommodation -the comfortable beds,lounges,quality towels ,bed linen ,& every kitchen utensil & crockery imaginable — home away from home ! Lovely & cosy listening to the strong winds with the luxury of central heating during the unexpected 3 days rain & wind storm & cold spell .Claire was easily available to answer any queries . The bonus was walking 3 houses away to Rosedale beach to walk the dog - Listening to the pounding surf at night was magic Deirdre & Peter & Lady the Lab

Dog Heaven

Lovely cedar house with outdoor deck overlooking Saltwater Creek. Very tranquil. Cosy fireplace at night. Couldn't have asked for a better location for 2 energetic dogs and their work frazzled owners!. Beautiful beaches in all directions. Rosedale Beach is less than a 5 minute walk and a really picturesque spot. House is very comfortable with everything you require. We had a wonderful time. Owners very prompt with communication.

Hidden Treasure

Home away from home. Very nicely furnished and clean place. Beds are very comfortable , bedding is spotless including towels and the rest of the house. I stayed 2 nights with my friends ( all over 60’s) and I wish I could spend more time in this great place.Neighbourhood is beautiful and very short walk to the beach. I could not ask for better place even was raining. Plenty of great games and good books. Kitchen is great too. Amazing architecture design though all the house. Highly recommended . All of us agree on my review ❤️

Read at Rosedale 2 week holiday.

Despite the cold and stormy weekend on arrival, we enjoyed our stay, the birdlife, Parrots, Pigeons, Ducks, Kormorans and the little Kingfisher, at night the Possum welcomed us! We missed sometimes the proximity of restaurants, shops and streetlights, but therefore the house was well equiped with everything we needed for a very quired and enjoyable holiday. It took us two days to warm up the cold house on arrival, but later on, after we purchased fire wood, the woodfired heater was used for cosy evenings.
