"Our family enjoyed this house on the water. Cedar Key is a very laid back, no worries town. We had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving trip memorable. Misty and Chad are excellent hosts. They were available when we had questions. Everything was as described. Being able to sit on the front porch in the morning and watching the sunrise over the water, then sunsets on the dock. Ah….close enough for an easy walk or golf cart ride into town. The beds were so comfortable. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. Thankfully, as we had a cold front! We would stay here again. It was everything we needed. Also, pet friendly. When we go to Cedar Key, we go for the nature of the west coast and this house met our needs. "

"The Little House, on the exterior, attracted us. Upon entering, we were immersed in a wonderful visual plethora of original art, books, kitch and collectibles effectively distributed throughout the house which contributed to our overall intrigue and enjoyment of this environment. The house was clean with ample amenities, located in a residential area but within walking distance to the center of town. Mike and Cindy, living nearby, introduced themselves to us and confirmed that their accommodations would meet our utmost expectations. This place is a little gem for a couple people to stay in Cedar Key. Would not consider staying anywhere else in our next visit to this wonderful part of Florida."

This was our first trip here since Helene and it is heartbreaking, but the warm, friendly people and the peacefulness have not changed."

"First off, I would like to say this property was absolutely stunning. We’re not the “big home” type when we travel — we enjoy places that are simple, rustic, country and personal — and this stay was more than we ever imagined.The 2.5-hour drive from Kissimmee was peaceful, filled with tree-lined roads and quiet stretches. Upon arrival to Cedar Key, we found a small town that feels larger than life. The peace, the scenery, and the serenity were more than we could have hoped for.From the outside, the home looked like a cozy getaway surrounded by plants, mini gardens, and a charming tea area with a small fountain. At the top of the stairs were two wooden rocking chairs, perfect for morning coffee. Once you open the door, you’re welcomed into a beautiful wooden cabin — warm, personal, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was heavenly, and the sofa and pull-out bed were just as inviting. The train-themed décor, complete with lantern-style lighting, added so much charm. There was even a personal table for two.The walk from the cabin to the beaches was under two minutes. We explored the entire town in less than an hour, stopping for coffee, seafood, and even visiting the local library and museum. You truly don’t need a car unless you plan to leave the island.The hosts were caring, responsive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. This was a weekend getaway we will never forget. We are certain we’ll be back in the future and will gladly recommend this property"
