Would stay here again. It’s right by the train station which make it very convenient to go places. The free breakfast was amazing. They gave so much varieties and good food. Definitely worth the price

Lovely room, well placed hotel

Lovely sized room with a fridge, safe and nicely sized bathroom. It was perfect for my trip and right next door to the train station and a short walk to the gig venue.

I arrived and required change to pay my taxi, staff changed €100 note for me, later gave me directions to a local bank so I could refill my wallet. Even though the hotel is near the train station the hotel is very very quiet, one of the best sleeps I have ever had. Make sure to set your alarm as you will oversleep if you don’t.

Next to the train station, good room but hard to get the temperature comfortable. Bar was closed, but there was a vending machine with beer.

Housekeeping came at 08:22 am

Especially in summer it is not very comfortable sleeping on a plastic-covered mattress which is only clvered by a sheet! Plus housekeeping knocked at my door at 08:22 am and as the young guy didn’t hear me first time he tried to open the door! Then I shouted and they left. I travel 3 months every year but never had housekeeping trying to enter my room before 9:30 am! The hotel is very convenient when travelling by train, 15 min walk to the old city.

No air conditioning!

There’s no air conditioning in this hotel. Room temperature uncomfortable. They loaned us a small fan. Window opened only a crack. Good that it is close to the train station and they give a free tram pass. No restaurant for dinner but there is a good Asian restaurant just around the corner.

I guess this has to do with the local work hours, there is no food service at this hotel. No service on the bar area on Sunday. Room key card is not working on the first try and need to try few times before working. Per the reception instructions need to place the key card few cm away from the reader to make it works😂😂 Room and Beds so small even for small person like me and how does this fit for taller folks🤔🤔🤔 Anyway this is a good location for new traveler to Rostock cause it’s next the the train station 🚉 no need to get taxis.

Handy hotel for railway station

Comfortable clean bed and nice room, but I don't think it had been thoroughly cleaned, the shower gel was almost empty, there was a cotton bud in the bin when I arrived and soapy water in the sink. I told reception about the shower gel in the morning in German but I don't think they understood me. I arrived at 9pm on a Sunday and the hotel bar was closed even though there were staff on reception, they directed me to a drinks machine. The eating options in the vicinity at that time were limited, seeming to consist of a kebab van. The hotel is right next to the station so is really hand if travelling by train. There is a Netto supermarket 300 yards away. The town centre is accessible by tram and the platforms are in the railway station subway. The hotel is ideal for a 1 night stay and I used it to visit the Molli Bahn narrow gauge railway before moving on to the island of Ruegen. The reception staff were helpful in allowing me to use the luggage storage room.
